Hello Trainers! Niantic has pushed a few text updates in the background over the last couple days! Including a possible new event, more on both Remote Raids & Pokêstop scanning, an update on Kyurem sizing, and more!

Throwback 2020 Celebration

Looks like another generation themed event, with various Pokémon from each generation spawning during their portion of the event. It will be interesting to see how long each generation gets for its portion.

As announced remote raiders will get a damage boost to start with. A few various text updates there as well.
Remote Raid Passes

Niantic updated the text of the 3-pack, and they added a 5-pack.
DISCLAIMER: This only indicates that the passes will be available in the shop, not that its the only way to get them. We don’t know if we will get a daily remote-raid pass like we do the regular raid pass.

The PVP Camera angles of Dragonite, Rhyperior and both Giratina formes were altered to fit them onto the screen better.
Darmanitan Zen and Hydreigon Updates are back … again

Darmanitan Zen has buddy offsets again, and Hydreigon’s has a bonus dust reward of 400.
Conclusions and Speculation
Another event! It would appear that Niantic has yet another event up its sleeve. This one will probably follow the “Stay At Home” model they’ve been pushing, so we’ll have to wait and see if bundles of incense are made readily available to us prior to this one too.
Kyurem model update is curious: it could just be Niantic making adjustments or is Kyurem our next legendary? In the main series games it’s impossible to legitimately own a White Kyurem and a Black Kyurem as Kyurem cannot be traded or placed in Pokémon Bank while fused and you can’t have both in the same game. Will Niantic roll these out as regionals? Kyurem for everyone, with White Kyurem and a Black Kyurem being region-specific? They have done this in the past with the lake trio.
