In order to celebrate Pokémon GO’s 10th Anniversary, the Pokémon GO Engagement Experience returns for the 3rd time in a row. This time a select number of lucky couples can tie the knot during Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Chicago or Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Copenhagen. Worth noting that the former will take place between 5-7 June, and the later 12-14 June, 2026.

Pokémon GO Engagement Experience is a completely free special experience that will be available at Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Chicago and Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Copenhagen for love-struck couples that are planning to ask the question at this events.
Couples can reserve this electrifying experience and celebrate their love alongside friends, family, and fellow Trainers. The following benefits will be provided at this live event for the selected couples:

Frequently asked questions
Some clarifications have been made in the official Pokémon GO website:
- Pokémon GO proposals is a free add-on experience limited to a small number of Trainers, and it will be offered on a first come, first served basis.
- It is not a Pokémon GO Fest ticket, and the experience is available only to Trainers who have already purchased tickets for Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Chicago and/or Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Copenhagen. Tickets for Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Chicago are on sale for US$33.00 and for Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Copenhagen for 200.00 kr.
- Selection is not guaranteed and is subject to Niantic’s sole discretion.
- All photography will take place in Grant Park in Chicago and Fælledparken in Copenhagen.
- Trainers must provide their Trainer name and email associated with their Pokémon GO account in advance for Niantic to verify existing ticket purchases.
- Participation in the experience is subject to Niantic Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and participants may be required to sign an additional release.
