Get hyped trainers, we have the dates for Pokémon GO Tour: Alola 2027! There will be two in-person events, followed by a global event that can be played wherever you are in the world. Pokémon from the Alola region will be the focus, taking inspiration from the main series games Pokémon Sun, Pokémon Moon, Pokémon Ultra Sun, and Pokémon Ultra Moon.

We anticipate that a lot of the unreleased Pokémon may debut in events between now and Pokémon GO Tour: Alola, and that Mudbray could make its global debut during the event too.
Unreleased Pokémon for Pokémon GO Tour: Alola
In Pokémon GO we not only have plenty of unreleased Pokémon from the Alola region, but plenty of unreleased Shiny Pokémon too!
Many of these Pokémon have multiple forms, making their potential releases even more interesting.
- Wishiwashi has both a Solo and School form. In the main series when it enters a battle, or ends a turn with its HP above 25%, it changes from Solo Form to School Form.
- Silvally has a form for each different typing! This means a massive 18 different forms.
- Minior can change forms during battle using its Shields Down Ability. It is normally in its Meteor Form, but when its HP is below half, its core becomes exposed. It will revert back to its Meteor Form if its HP is restored above 50%. Minior’s exposed core can be one of seven colours: Red Core, Orange Core, Yellow Core, Green Core, Blue Core, Indigo Core, and Violet Core.
- Ultra Necrozma is the only form of Necrozma we don’t yet have in Pokémon GO. Unlike the other forms it isn’t a fusion with another Pokémon. It is a Psychic and Dragon type that can be changed into when either Necrozma’s Dusk Mane or Dawn Wings forms holds the Ultranecrozium Z and uses Ultra Burst in the main series.
- Magearna is a Steel and Fairy type Mythical Pokémon from the Alola region. It has a second form known as the Original Color form, and both forms can then become Mega Magearna.
Unreleased Shiny Alola Pokémon
All of the above Pokémon do not have their basic, or shiny forms released in Pokémon GO. The following Pokémon are currently in Pokémon GO, but not yet available shiny, and we expect some (if not all) of them to become available during Pokémon GO Tour Alola 2027:
You will notice that Cosmog is not listed, Cosmog has never officially been able to be shiny in any Pokémon game, so as such there are no legitimate sprites for it.
The unreleased Pokémon do not all have shiny sprites available in Pokémon GO yet, but this is what they will look like, using either GO sprites, or HOME sprites:
