Inkay Limited Research Event takes place on Saturday, September 3, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. local time. During the event, Field Research tasks leading to encounters with Inkay will be available when you spin Photo Discs at PokéStops.
Also, for the first time in Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to encounter Shiny Inkay – if you’re lucky!

“As we dust off our crystal balls for the Psychic Spectacular Event, we’re kicking off with a celebration of a certain Psychic type Pokémon. And what better Pokémon to celebrate than Inkay, who made its debut in last year’s Psychic Spectacular? In addition, for the first time in Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to encounter Shiny Inkay – if you’re lucky!”
