Event Stickers
All Trainers will be able to get Pokémon GO Tour: Hoenn–themed stickers in the in-game shop from Friday, February 17, to Sunday, February 26, 2023. These stickers will also be available via PokéStops and Gifts from Friday, February 17, to Saturday, February 18, 2023 and from Wednesday, February 22, to Sunday, February 26, 2023.
Pokémon Storage and Item Bag Capacity Increase
To help you prepare for your Hoenn adventure, the maximum capacity of your Pokémon Storage and Item Bag will be increased ahead of Pokémon GO Tour: Hoenn – Las Vegas! You will be able to purchase Item Bag and Pokémon Storage expansions from the in-game shop.
- Pokémon Storage capacity: increasing from 6,200 to 6,250
- Item Bag capacity: increasing from 5,200 to 5,250
New Music
New pieces of featured music inspired by Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire, will be in-game during the Hoenn Tour. These pieces were created by Junichi Masuda, Pokémon video game series composer and Chief Creative Fellow of The Pokémon Company!
Global Tour Shiny Rate
Niantic has confirmed to website Eurogamer that no other ticket will be sold as part of Hoenn Tour, and that shiny rates will be boosted for select species without a ticket. The ticketed portion of the event only impacts the access to the shiny Jirachi Masterwork Research.
This means that unlike previous Pokémon GO Tour events, it is free and open to all players. We don’t know which species will be affected by this shiny boost, or what the rate of the shiny boost will be, but there will be an increase for some Pokémon, not all.
