Niantic and The Pokémon Company are donating 200,000.00 US Dollars each to support relief efforts in Ukraine. Both companies shared statements online, Niantic via their official blog, and TPCI via Twitter.

On top of the $200,000 donation, Niantic employees have raised more than $75,000 internally, matching their peers’ donations as much as they could. The donations are going towards the following charities and non-governmental organisations that provide support:

  • United Help Ukraine, Razom Inc., Charitable Fund Voices of Children, International Rescue Committee, Norwegian Refugee Council, Sunflower of Peace, International Medical Corps and UNICEF

In addition to that, Niantic is making the Via Lux Beacon freely available for all Ingress Agents around the world.
