Chrales has uncovered an announcement of a New Event in Pokemon GO — this is the return of the Eggstravaganza. Chrales is a dataminer associated with the PoGoDev discord group, and an hour ago he found the text for an upcoming event in the network data:
“The Pokémon GO Eggstravaganza is coming back on March 22 at 1:00 p.m. PDT! This year, an even greater variety of Pokémon will be found in 2 km Eggs, and only those Eggs will be available from PokéStops throughout the event! This means that Pokémon that normally hatch from 5 km or 10 km Eggs, such as Wynaut or Ralts, will be found in 2 km Eggs until the event ends on April 2 at 1:00 p.m. PDT. Plus: enjoy bonus Candy for each hatched Egg, and double Stardust throughout the event! The in-game shop also has special boxes to help you get the most out of hatching your Eggs, which include Super Incubators and Star Pieces. Stay safe, and happy exploring!”

Pokémon GO Eggstravaganza 2018
Pokémon GO’s Eggstravaganza Event is a celebration of Easter and the in-game news makes mention to special 2KM eggs as well as special boxes including Super Incubators. According to the leaked text, the event lasts from 1:00 P.M. PDT on March 22 to 1:00 P.M. PDT on April 2, 2018.

Which Pokemon can I hatch during the Eggstravaganza 2018?
The event is as of yet, unannounced, so we don’t have solid details but we would expect all currently available Pokemon in 5KM and 10KM eggs to be available in the new special 2KM eggs. Looking at last years Eggstravaganza hatches, a majority of egg Pokémon were available in the 2KM egg pool.
Super Incubator
Super Incubator is a new type of Egg Incubator. Super Incubator enables faster (more efficient) egg hatching by applying a 1.5x distance multiplier value. Super incubators will be available in the in-game shop as part of new boxes.
Although it is expensive, we strongly recommend pairing them with Star Piece for the duration of the event.
