Trainers, get hyped for Pokémon GO Fest 2024 announcements coming soon, with a new trailer released, typing Marshadow! Many trainers were hoping to see Manaphy, Phione or Arceus as they weren’t released at Sinnoh Tour, but it looks like we will have to wait for another time with them.

Marshadow is a Fighting and Ghost type Mythical Pokémon, first discovered in the Alola region. It’s shadow can be seen peeping out from behind the tree as Eevee and Pikachu run off to the right of the screen.

The official artwork for the Pokémon GO Fest 2024 also seems to tease Marshadow, with the shadowy tendrils reflecting their design on the ‘Fest’ section.
We hope dates and locations will be announced soon so that trainers wishing to attend will have plenty of opportunity to plan ahead. Where are you hoping GO Fest will be this year?

Marshadow was initially the only Fighting and Ghost type Pokémon, but with the addition of Annihilape in the Paldean region, it is no longer unique. Interestingly originally Marshadow had a shiny that was identical in colour to it’s non-shiny counterpart in its normal form, but in its Zenith Form it has a discernible colour difference. It’s Zenith Form is active in battle only, when using their Z-Move Z-Move Soul-Stealing 7-Star Strike. Z-Moves are the gimmick introduced in the Alola region. Zenith Marshadow is shown below.
