Trainers, get hyped, Pokémon GO Tour: Kalos is just around the corner, and we have new information to share with you!
Los Angeles, Tainan and Global Tickets
A limited number of tickets are still available for both in-person events that take place this weekend in Los Angeles and Tainan.
You can also enhance your experience with a variety of add-ons if you have already purchased your ticket, including adding additional days of game play, raid bonuses, egg hatching bonuses, and the Mega Night experience.
Trainers attending Los Angeles also still have time to pre-order their event merch to collect on their event day!
There is also plenty of time left to buy your ticket for the Global event, which gives you access to a variety of bonuses including boosted shiny odds, and access to the Shiny Diancie Masterwork Research.

New In-Game Music
You’ll be able to experience the world premiere of new music by Junichi Masuda, inspired by Pokémon X and Y! Don’t forget to turn your volume up to hear this new music while you play GO Tour.
Xerneas or Yveltal?
During the Global GO Tour event, ticket-holding trainers will be given the opportunity to pick between two Special Research paths: X Version and Y Version. The path you pick will determine your rewards and bonuses.
To get the most out of your bonuses, be sure to start the An X-Ceptional Yarn Special Research as soon as it becomes available on Saturday 28th February 2026 at 10:00am local time.
Trainers who chose the X Version path will receive the following:
- Xerneas-themed Special Research rewards including an encounter with Xerneas that has a special Pokémon X inspired background
- Chance to receive field research tasks that reward encounters with Unown X
Trainers who chose the Y Version path will receive the following:
- Yveltal-themed Special Research rewards including an encounter with Yveltal that has a special Pokémon Y inspired background
- Chance to receive field research tasks that reward encounters with Unown Y
Unown X, Unown Y, Xerneas and Yveltal can be shiny if you are lucky!
Ticket-holding trainers who attended the in-person events in Tainan or Los Angeles can also take part in this Special Research, even if they claimed the in-person Special Research.
Boosted Shiny Chances
During the Global Kalos Tour all trainers can look forward to an increased chance of encountering the following Pokémon in their shiny form in the wild:

New Avatar Items
All trainers can unlock the GO Tour 2026 t-shirt for their avatar via the GO Tour Pass: Kalos.
Trainers who upgrade to the GO Tour Pass: Kalos Deluxe can obtain the Zygarde Jacket as a reward!
The GO Tour Pass: Kalos and GO Tour Pass: Kalos Deluxe will be available from Monday, February 23, 10:00am until Sunday, March 1 at 6:00pm local time. You can claim these avatar items until March 3, 5:59pm local time.
The following avatar items will also be available to purchase in the in-game shop beginning Monday, February 3, 2026:
- Xerneas Headwear
- Yveltal Coat
The Shiny Diance t-shirt will be available as a reward in the new Masterwork Research available as part of the GO Tour: Kalos Global ticket. Masterwork Research does not expire, so you can complete it at your own pace.
New Stickers
During the in-person GO Tour: Kalos events in Los Angeles and Tainan ticket holding trainers will be able to obtain Pokémon GO Tour: Kalos themed event stickers from PokéStops and by opening gifts during event hours from Friday, February 20 through Sunday, February 22.
During the global GO Tour: Kalos event all trainers will be able to get Pokémon GO Tour: Kalos themed event stickers from PokéStops and by opening gifts between 10:00am and 6:00pm local time daily. You will also be able to purchase these stickers in the in-game shop between Friday, February 20 at 9:00am, and Sunday, March 1, 8:00pm local time.
