Pokémon has partnered with the National Trust to create Pokémon Mega Evolution Trails that encourage outdoor exploration, walking, and adventure in historical places.
The Pokémon Company International has teamed up with Europe’s biggest conservation charity, the National Trust in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Through this partnership, a variety of outdoor experiences will be offered at selected National Trust places.
Pokémon has also become the sponsor of the National Trust Summer of Play programme. This is the Trust’s flagship summer offer for families, where Trust places are filled with activities specifically aimed at families and children.
Pokémon Mega Evolution Trails
From 23rd May 2026 through till 6th September 2026 you’ll be able to seek out the 10 Mega Evolution Pokémon and complete fun challenges at a variety of National Trust sites in the UK.
Each challenge is inspired by the abilities of the Pokémon, whether that’s speed, strategy, focus or bravery. You’ll get a trail sheet to help you find your way, showing you all of the trail points, and you’ll also get to take a photo in front of the Mega Evolution Pokémon backdrop at the end!
Upon entry, families will receive a trail sheet to help guide their journey around their chosen location. The trail will consist of ten different trail points, with each point focusing on a different Energy type. The trails are included with standard admission (and free for National Trust members), with no need to prebook.
