As a part of yesterday’s Pokémon GO Remote Raiding Roll Out Begins, Niantic is launching another raid themed celebration event to accompany the new Remote raiding feature. The following Pokémon will be making a comeback in Tier 5 raids:
- From Tuesday, April 28, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. to Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7), Darkrai will be available in five-star raids.
- From Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. to Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7), Altered Forme Giratina will be available in five-star raids.
- From Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. to Tuesday, May 19, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7), Virizion will be available in five-star raids.
All of the Pokémon listed above can be shiny when encountered in the post battle catch encounter.
Do note that, at present, Trainers battling in raids remotely will have the same attack power as Trainers who are able to battle at the raid location in person. This means that all of your regular strategies applies: same Trainers numbers and counters work for these Pokémon.
