Niantic is bringing back a delightful treat for the final Community Day of the Season—the return of Community Day voting! From Saturday, June 7, at 6:00 p.m. PDT to Sunday, June 8, at 6:00 p.m. PDT, Trainers will be able to vote for the August Community Day featured Pokémon via the official Pokémon GO YouTube channel.
The Pokémon that receives the most votes will be featured during Pokémon GO August 2025 Community Day, taking place on August 30, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. local time.
August Community Day Candidates
Your Community Day candidates are Frillish, Wimpod, Rookidee, and Lechonk! Here are the attacks that will be featured for each Pokémon if they win.
- Frillish: Evolve Frillish to get a Jellicent that knows the Charged Attack Poltergeist
. - Wimpod: Evolve Wimpod to get a Golisopod that knows the Charged Attack Rock Slide
. - Rookidee: Evolve Corvisquire (Rookidee’s Evolution) to get a Corviknight that knows the Charged Attack Air Cutter
. - Lechonk: Evolve Lechonk to get an Oinkologne that knows the Charged Attack Disarming Voice

The winner will be announced shortly after voting closes, and event bonuses and more event details will be announced later.
How to Vote
Niantic will host a poll on the official Pokémon GO YouTube channel starting Saturday, June 7, at 6:00 p.m. PDT and running until Sunday, June 8, at 6:00 p.m. PDT.
Trainers will have 24 hours to cast their vote for the Pokémon they would most like to see featured during August Community Day 2025. Each Trainer will be allowed one vote.
The winning Pokémon will be announced shortly after the voting period concludes. The Pokémon with the most votes will become the featured Pokémon for August Community Day.
Niantic encourages all Trainers to make their voices heard and join in the celebration of these Delightful Days in Pokémon GO. Trainers are also invited to campaign for their favorite Pokémon using #PokemonGOCommunityDay.
