October 2021 Field Research Tasks and Rewards

We’re currently in the Pokémon GO Season of Mischief, which means some tasks may differ across hemispheres. Each month brings a new Research Breakthrough.

Research Breakthrough

Yamask

From Friday, October 1, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. to Monday, November 1, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7), you’ll encounter Yamask in Research Breakthrough encounters. Yamask can be shiny! Yamask is only ever seen at Halloween, so be sure to get your weekly breakthrough to catch this elusive Pokémon.
