Some changes have been announced for Pokémon Sleep, including a teaser for an upcoming Latios event, as well as adjustments to how Mew and Darkrai will appear in game. We are very happy to hear they have listened to feedback on how Mew and Darkrai will appear, as the community was not happy with how they were going to be featured going forward.
Recent Ways to Encounter Mythical Pokémon

From the upcoming New Moon Day #13, each Pokémon with a special appearance rate will appear in all research areas. To match this, the following bonus that originally applied to Pokémon with special appearance rates will be adjusted to apply to all Pokémon:
Each time you don’t encounter a Pokémon with special appearance rates during sleep research, your chances of encountering a Pokémon with special appearance rates during New Moon Day sleep research will increase a little.
Upcoming Ways to Encounter Mythical Pokémon

Other than New Moon Day events, they are considering implementing special appearance rates in Good Sleep Day events as well, so that you can encounter each Mythical Pokémon in respective events:
- New Moon Day: Darkrai
- Good Sleep Day: Mew
They are also considering the revisions above as there may be more Pokémon with special appearance rates in the future. These changes are still under consideration for development, and might differ from actual game features when implemented, with more details being announced at a later date.
Latios Event

Thanks to the success of the Latias event last week, you might encounter the Legendary Pokémon Latios in June 2026! A special event will be held to celebrate the release of Latios, with more details coming soon.
