Halloween Double Candy Research Event
- Monday October 27th at 4:00 a.m. to Monday November 3rd at 3:59 a.m.
- Event Area: Greengrass Isle and Greengrass Isle (Expert)
Bonuses
The following bonuses will be active during all days of the event:
Certain Pokémon will be more likely to appear during sleep research.

Each time a Ghost-type helper Pokémon brings you ingredients as it regularly would, it will have 1 extra.

The chance of any Ghost-type helper Pokémon’s main skill being triggered will be multiplied by 1.25.

Main skill levels of Ghost-type helper Pokémon will be boosted by 3 when they trigger.
The Snorlax in the event areas will have Bluk Berries (Ghost type) set as one of its favourite Berries. The other two kinds of Berries are chosen at random.

A few Pokémon of different sleep types will appear during sleep research regardless of your sleep type for that day.
The following bonuses will be active on October 31st, and November 2nd:
Candies gained from the first sleep research of the day will be multiplied by 3.
The following bonuses will be active on all other days of the event (Oct 27-30, and Nov 1):

Candies gained from the first sleep research of the day will be multiplied by 2.
The following bonuses are only available on Greengrass Isle (Expert Mode):

If you participate in the event in an expert area, Snorlax’s main favorite Berry for the week will be Bluk Berries, and Snorlax’s sub-favorite Berries will be random.
Featured Pokémon
Pumpkaboo and Gourgeist
They can appear at Greengrass Isle, Old Gold Power Plant, and Greengrass Isle (Expert). They are both Ghost type Pokémon.
Their sleep types will be dozing for both Pumpkaboo and Gourgeist.
Pumpkaboo and Gourgeist each have four different forms. Each form has different helping stats. It seems larger forms have a higher carry limit, while smaller forms help more quickly.
Eevee with a Halloween Hat
To commemorate Halloween 2025 — Double Candy Research, Eevee will be appearing with a Halloween hat!
This is a great opportunity to use Eevee (Halloween) Incense—which you can get as a reward for completing limited-time missions—to research this Eevee’s sleep styles.
It’s also possible during sleep research to encounter the Pikachu wearing a Halloween hat that appeared during the previous Halloween event!
Pokémon Incense for Eevee wearing a Halloween hat can be used starting from Oct. 27 (Mon) at 3:00 p.m..

- 【Important】 Each day of the event rolls over at 4:00 a.m.
- After the event, the following Pokémon will no longer appear during sleep research conducted on Greengrass Isle, but they can still appear on Greengrass Isle until if you use each Pokémon’s incense. (Pikachu (Halloween), Gengar, Eevee (Halloween), Drifblim, and Skeledirge)
- After the event, the following Pokémon will no longer appear during sleep research conducted on Greengrass Isle (Expert), but they can still appear on Greengrass Isle (Expert) until if you use each Pokémon’s incense. (Pikachu (Halloween), Gastly, Haunter, Gengar, and Eevee (Halloween))
- Event bonuses apply only to sleep data tracked during the event.
- If you wait to report sleep data tracked before the event began and select “Review Later” during the event, event bonuses will not be applied.
- If you wait to report sleep data tracked during the event and select “Review Later” after the event has ended, event bonuses will be applied.
- Event bonuses do not apply to sleep tracking during the tutorial.
- If overlapping events trigger more than one of the same type of bonus, the larger bonus will be applied.
- Event bonuses will not raise main skill levels beyond max level. The value of the main skill displayed on the Pokémon details screen is the value before the bonus effects apply. Also, for Pokémon that were already on your team before the event started, the first time their main skill triggers during the event, in some cases, may not include the bonus effect.
- Pikachu and Eevee wearing Halloween hats will stop appearing during regular sleep research after the event has ended, but they will appear if you use each Pokémon’s incense. They may also appear in another event sometime.
- Pikachu and Eevee wearing Halloween hats cannot be evolved.
