Pokémon Sleep: Version 3.4.0 Update, Maintenance and Latias Information

Pokémon Sleep is getting a major update to Version 3.4.0, and that means a maintenance period! Maintenance will be conducted during the following time period:

  • Starts: March 31, 2026, at 5:30 a.m. UTC
  • Ends: March 31, 2026, at 10:00 a.m UTC

  • Preparation forLatias Research event
  • Addition of a New Relaxing Sound: A Stroll through the South Province (Paldea)

Balance Adjustments

  • Changes to certain Pokémon’s main skills: Absol. Before change: Charge Strength S, after change: Charge Strength M. Main skill levels will be maintained after the update. Main skills of Pokémon you have already befriended will also change.
  • Adjustments to certain helper Pokémon’s helping stats: Kangaskhan. Their Main skill chance will be increased slightly.

New Latias Information

Latias will be a Dragon type Legendary Pokémon in Pokémon Sleep. Latias is a Special Pokémon. Normally, you can have only one Special Pokémon on your team. However, as an exception, Latias and Latios can be on the same team. It’s possible to befriend more than one Special Pokémon. For each species of Special Pokémon, the Nature and sub skills will be identical for the first one befriended by each researcher.

It will appear beginning on April 6th, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. Pokémon Incense for the new arrival can be used starting from the date and time above.

It can appear at Greengrass Isle, Lapis Lakeside, Amber Canyon, and Greengrass Isle (Expert).

It will have a Dozing Sleep Type

It’s Main Skill is a new Main Skill, Heal Pulse (Energizing Cheer S). It restores Energy to two random Pokémon on your team and instantly gets you a certain amount of the usual help from those Pokémon.
If Latios is on your team, it instantly gets you a greater amount of additional times the usual help.
