Mega Pokémon that boost Swinub

The following Pokémon will grant you extra bonuses when catching Swinub if they are Mega/Primal evolved:

A Note on Mega Catch Bonus

While a Pokémon is Mega-Evolved, additional XP and Candy is granted when catching a Pokémon that shares a type with it, or for any raid boss caught. These do not stack with each other. Additionally, High and Max Level Mega-Evolved Pokémon grant an increased chance to obtain Candy XL when catching a Pokémon that shares a type with it.

Is it worth evolving Swinub?

PVE

Recommended moves

  • Ice Attacker: Powder Snow Ice, Avalanche Ice
  • Ground Attacker: Mud-slap Ground, High Horsepower Ground
Mamoswine has been a Dragon killer for even the most seasoned Pokémon GO players, but it’s worth so much more! 💎It is an exceptional Ice Pokémon and an amazing Ground Pokémon, excelling in both roles with impressive flair. 💫While the Shadow variant is undoubtedly on another level, a 💯 IV Mamoswine is one of the best investments for your Stardust and Candies. ✨ You’ll never regret this Pokémon. ❤️

⚔️ Raids

Ice and Ground are both incredible offensive types, and Mamoswine excels in both metas. 😎 It’s a perfect Pokémon to lead your Raid counters squad. 🚵

🛡️ Gyms

It’s not the most ideal choice due to its many weaknesses, but it’s not bad either. 🙂

PVP

Recommended moves

  • Great League: Powder Snow Ice, Icicle Spear Ice, Stone Edge Rock
  • Ultra League: Powder Snow Ice. Icicle Spear Ice, High Horsepower Ground
  • Master League: Powder Snow Ice. Icicle Spear Ice, High Horsepower Ground

Ice and Ground provide at least neutral coverage against the entire meta, so regardless of how good or bad the match-up is for Mamoswine, it still puts in the work! 🏋️

Thanks to its quick movesetMamoswine can land Avalanche more often than opponents would like, making it highly effective at demanding shields. 🔰

You’re ALWAYS going to give your opponent a hard time with Mamoswine, so use it well! ✌️

🔵 Great League

Piloswine has the same moveset as Mamoswine, but the former is better suited for the Great League due to its lower stats. ✅

🟡 Ultra League

Once again, Piloswine is preferred in this league.

🟣 Master League

Move aside, you pile of s…umm, Piloswine—it’s time for Mamoswine to take the spotlight! 🔦

This brute force, despite its weaknesses, makes a large chunk of the Master League meta shiver in terror. 🥶

It claims so many victims and truly lives up to its name. 😌 However, be careful about its weaknesses. ‼️ Meticulously planning your team and switch-outs makes Mamoswine a legit match-winner. ❄️🏆
