Numel and Camerupt

Pokemon GO Numel and Camerupt

Pokemon GO Camerupt (Max CP 2016) and it’s entire family has dual fire and ground typing. Than includes Pokemon GO Numel (Max CP 957).

Camerupt is known as the “Eruption Pokémon” and Numel is known as the “Dumb Pokémon” – we kid you not. These Pokémon will probably be a low tier attacker attacker and will mostly be collected for its Pokédex entry.

Where to find Numel and Camerupt in Pokemon GO?

Numel lives on volcanic mountains and Camerupt lives in crates of volcanoes. In Pokémon Go, it’s likely to encounter these Pokémon in Desert, Mountain and Rough Terrain Biomes.

Camerupt in the Pokémon GO meta

Camerupt is expected to be a low tier Pokemon once Third Generation comes. Considering it’s stats alone, it could still end up being a fairly decent attacker, at least while not facing a water based defender. Camerupt’s redeeming quality is rather good type coverage, so it’s usage will mostly depend on it’s movepool.

Camerupt is known to have a mega evolution. Mega Camerupt has very powerful ATK and very bulky DEF, which could be an interesting twist in the coming months. The downside of its mega evolution is the significant decrease on Camerupt’s Speed, but it is still decent.

Pokémon GO Camerupt Moves

We expect the following moves to be a part of Camerupt move pool:

  • Fire Blast fire
  • Flame Charge fire
  • Dig ground
  • Earthquake ground
  • Body Slam normal

In addition, we expect that at least some of these moves will be added to Pokemon GO and eventually appear in Camerupt’s move pool:

  • Eruption fire
  • Incinerate fire
  • Lava Plume fire
  • Earth Power ground
  • Rollout rock
