Where to find Plusle and Minun?
In other Pokémon games, these Pokémon are often found in the same area. Plusle and Minun are common in cities, play grounds, parks, and even residential area.
Plusle and Minun made their television debut on the 312rd episode of the Pokémon series (Advanced Generation: Episode 38) titled, “A Different Kind of Misty”.
Position in the Pokémon GO meta
With Plusle and Minun’s CP not even reaching 2k, they will not fall in any ranks at all. They will not last long as a gym defender and they very limited number of opponents that they can defeat.
As they are “Cheering Pokémon”, they are known for their support moves. In other Pokémon games, these Pokémon are included in teams for that sole purpose. Unfortunately, Pokémon Go does not have that option of teaming Pokémon/Players up and having stat altering moves. Until then, Plusle and Minun will be caught for their Pokédex entry.
Remember that Plusle and Minun are two (2) different Pokémon. Plusle has a higher ATK (167) and Minun has a higher DEF (167). In other Pokémon games, trainers would prefer to have Minun in their teams because of it can withstand a little more damage than Plusle. In Pokémon Go, Plusle would be more favorable simply because it has a higher CP.
Despite having a type advantage over water and type Pokémon, their stats are not strong enough to defeat a lot of defending Pokémon, nor can the stats make them hold a gym for a long time.
