Shiny Meditite
A very easy one to spot! For the completionists out there – look out for the subtle gender difference. Male Meditite has upturned ‘ears’, whereas the female’s are downturned. Male Medicham has a bigger top knot on its head than its female counterpart.

Mega Pokémon that boost Meditite
The following Pokémon will grant you extra bonuses when catching Meditite if they are Mega-evolved.
Mega Catch Bonus
While a Pokémon is Mega-Evolved, additional XP and Candy are granted when catching a Pokémon that shares a type with it, or for any raid boss caught. These do not stack with each other. Additionally, High and Max Level Mega-Evolved Pokémon grant an increased chance to obtain Candy XL when catching a Pokémon that shares a type with it.
Is it worth evolving Meditite?
Despite Medicham having a mega evolution – unless you don’t already have one, there’s better options out there!
Medicham
PVE
Medicham has absolutely terrible stats for PvE, being outclassed by just about anything. Don’t waste your Revives or Potions by sending this Pokémon to battle 😅.
⚔️ Raids – Medicham is a Fighting/Psychic-type Pokémon, and both these types are blessed with many powerhouses. But hey, Medicham can’t even compete with some regular catches of these two types. It can, at best, cheer your counters as a bystander 🙌.
🛡️ Gyms – The only plus is that it resists Fighting-type damage, one of the go-to Pokémon types for attacking Gyms. Other than that… nada! 😐
PVP
After so much, umm, insult in PvE, Medicham finally finds its calling in PvP… sort of.
🔵 Great League – Long, long time ago, Medicham was THE Pokémon to beat in the Great League. The meta basically revolved around it 😲.
But then, its moveset started getting nerfed. It could still argue about Counter but even that got nerfed, serving as the final nail in its coffin when it comes to the sheer dominance it was once capable of 😶🌫️.
These days, Medicham is not exactly bad. It still works but is not dependable anymore.
🟡 Ultra League – Keep it out ❌.
🟣 Master League – Imagine a Jurassic Park-esque film and relate it to the Master League. Medicham would be the first to get eaten.
Mega Medicham
⚔️ Raids
Typically, Mega Pokémon perform really well as raid attackers. However, Mega Medicham has a Max CP of 2821 and defense-oriented stats. As such, despite being a Fighting and Psychic dual-type Pokémon, Mega Medicham does not perform particularly well in either role.

PVP
Mega Medicham, much like every other Mega Pokémon, cannot be used in any of the three main open leagues.
