Pokémon Spotlight Hour will feature a different Pokémon and a special bonus for one hour at 6:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday during the month of June. Spritzee Spotlight Hour takes place on June 3rd, 2025, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm local time, with a bonus of 2x XP for catching Pokémon.
This Spotlight Hour is the first June 2025 Pokémon spotlight. It’s a great time to evolve any trash ‘mon in your storage before you transfer them.
Trainers who plan to participate should be prepared with a Mega Pokémon to maximise candy gains per Spritzee caught. Here’s everything you need to know!

An easy one to look out for – the usual pink Spritzee is purple in its shiny form!
The following Pokémon will grant you extra bonuses when catching Spritzee if they are Mega/Primal evolved. While a Pokémon is Mega-Evolved, additional XP and Candy is granted when catching a Pokémon that shares a type with it, or for any raid boss caught. These do not stack with each other. Additionally, High and Max Level Mega-Evolved Pokémon grant an increased chance to obtain Candy XL when catching a Pokémon that shares a type with it. Aromatisse is a C-tier gym defender and D-tier fairy type attacker. Not the best and plenty of other faily cheap good options. Aromatisse has decent enough stats so it could have more viability in the future, so it’s worth holding onto one for each league and waiting for the right time to build. It’s worth grinding for XL candy now in case of a future moveset shakeup. Tt’s worth noting that SPRITZEE is actually GREAT in Little League, so at least lock up a good one of those if you lack it.
