Delightful Days: Taken Over is the latest Team GO Rocket Takeover event that runs from Monday, August 11, at 12:00 a.m. to Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. local time. During that time, Trainers will have the opportunity to remove Frustration, save Shadow Giratina, fight Shadow Kyogre, and face Rocket Grunts and Rocket Leaders who are using new Shadow Pokémon!

For the first time in Pokémon GO, you might even hatch Shiny Salandit—if you’re lucky!
