New Pokémon X Natural History Museum Collaboration

An incredibly cool new Pokémon collaboration has been announced, with the Natural History Museum in London, to celebrate 30 years of Pokémon! This is not an in-game event, this is a real world event that takes place at the National History Museum at Cromwell Road, London, SW7 5BD.

Event Details

From January 26th until March 22nd 2026, the Cranbourne Boutique within the museum will be taken over by Pokémon for a special pop-up shop!

Entry to the pop-up store will require a pre-registered ticket with tickets being available on the Natural History Museum website from October 1st 2025. The tickets are free!

Adam Farrar, Director of Commercial and Visitor Experience for the Natural History Museum stated:

“There is such a wonderful alignment between Pokémon and the Natural History Museum – we’re obviously both big fans of the natural world and its evolution and diversity. We hope this collaboration will spark joy and curiosity in the creatures around us, both in the world of Pokémon and Earth”.

Merchandise

Items from this exclusive range will also be available on the online Natural History Museum shop in January 2026, and a select range of items will also be available from the Pokémon Center UK at a yet unannounced time. Confirmed at present is the adorable Pikachu Natural History Museum plush!

This pop-up shop will have exclusively designed products including clothing, stationery, accessories, prints and this exclusive plush. Pokémon Europe’s Mathieu Galante revealed the design inspiration behind the merchandise:

“Design inspiration has been drawn directly from the Natural History Museum’s iconic building and architecture, as well as the beautiful naturalist sketches that fill the Museum’s archives. We are excited to be working with the Natural History Museum to create this fun pop-up store for fans of all ages”.

All profits from the pop-up shop and online store support the museum’s charitable mission which aims to advocate for the planet, including fighting climate change, and preventing loss of biodiversity.
