Pokémon GO New Years 2022

Pokémon GO New Years 2022 event will take place in Pokémon GO from Friday, December 31, 2021, at 10:00 p.m. to Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time,

The New Years 2022 event continues the Season of Heritage story, brings a variety of costumed Pokémon and shiny Hoothoot debuts in Pokémon GO. Hatching bonuses will be doubled, and distances halved.

In addition to all other bonuses, special Fireworks will be appearing in-game for a limited time. This is the last Pokémon GO event in 2021, and it sure goes out in style.

During the Pokémon GO New Years 2022 event costumed versions of regular Pokémon will be appearing. New Year’s Hat Hoothoot and 2022 Glasses Slowking make their debut!

Also, for the first time in Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to encounter a Shiny Hoothoot, if you’re lucky! You’ll be able to encounter noncostumed Shiny Hoothoot after the event ends.

Fireworks!

• To help bring in the new year, fireworks will appear in Pokémon GO from Friday, December 31, 2021, at 11:00 p.m. local time to Sunday, January 2, 2022, at 12:00 a.m. local time.

The Season of Heritage Story Continues!

• Following the gift exchange, Spark decides to throw a party to celebrate and bring in the New Year!
• Nearby Pokémon are intrigued by the festivities and drawn in to celebrate!
