Trainers, exciting news! With Sinnoh Tour in both Los Angeles and globally, the Origin Formes of Dialga and Palkia will debut in Pokémon GO! Adventuring across time and space, these formes of Dialga and Palkia were first discovered in the Hisui region, in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
Not only will these two legendary dragons debut, they will bring with them a brand new phenomenon in Pokémon GO: Adventure Effects!
Pokémon Debuts
Origin Forme Dialgia, the Temporal Pokémon, and Origin Forme Palkia, the Spatial Pokémon, will make their initial debut at Pokémon GO Tour Sinnoh: Los Angeles! They will appear during space-time anomalies. Space-time anomalies are mysterious phenomena connecting our world to the distant past.
Thanks to these anomalies, Pokémon first discovered in the Hisui region will appear in habitats and raids! At GO Tour LA, a space-time anomaly will occur for the last 30 minutes of each hour during your ticketed event hours.
- Trainers not attending Sinnoh Tour can partake in Origin Forme Dialga and Palkia raids during the Los Angeles Sinnoh Tour, but they won’t be able to encounter the shiny forms, or one that knows their Signature Attacks.
- During the Global Sinnoh Tour all trainers will be able to encounter shiny forms, and Signature Attacks.
- At GO Tour Global, a space-time anomaly will occur for the entirety of the Ancient Grove and Geothermal Lagoon habitat hours.
- Origin Forme Dialga and Palkia cannot be transferred to Pokémon HOME.
Adventure Effects
Adventure Effects are a brand new mechanism in Pokémon GO. Adventure Effects are temporary bonuses designed to help you in your Pokémon GO adventure, and are activated by powerful Pokémon attacks that may be used outside of battle.
Adventure Effects have been reported to occur when Origin Forme Dialga uses Roar of Time, and Origin Forme Palkia uses Spacial Rend.
Roar of Time
Dialga (Origin)
Trainers who defeat and encounter Origin Forme Dialga in a raid battle will have a chance to catch one that knows the Charged Attack Roar of Time! (*).
Trainers will be able to activate the Adventure Effect caused by Roar of Time by using 5,000 Stardust and 5 Dialga Candy:
- It will cause a disruption in time, and pause the timers of Incense, Daily Adventure Incense, Lucky Eggs and Star Pieces for 6 minutes.
- You can extend the timer for Roar of Time’s Adventure Effect in increments of 6 minutes by using more Stardust and Dialga Candy. The timer can be extended up to two hours each time each time you tap use, and you can tap use again to add additional time, for up to 24 hours in total.
- Once Roar of Time ends the timer will resume the count down on your Incense, Daily Adventure Incense, Lucky Eggs and Star Pieces.
- Roar of Time cannot be used in conjunction with any other Adventure Effects.
(*) At this time, Roar of Time will not be obtainable via any TM.
Spacial Rend
Palkia (Origin)
Trainers who defeat and encounter Origin Forme Palkia in a raid battle will have a chance to catch one that knows the Charged Attack Spacial Rend (*).
Trainers will be able to activate the Adventure Effect caused by Spacial Rend by using 5,000 Stardust and 5 Palkia Candy.
- It will cause a disruption in space, and for 10 minutes you will be able to encounter wild Pokémon at an increased distance.
- You can extend the timer for Spacial Rend’s Adventure Effect in increments of 10 minutes by using more Stardust and Palkia Candy. The timer can be extended up to two hours each time each time you tap use, and you can tap use again to add additional time, for up to 24 hours in total.
- Once Spacial Rend ends the timer will resume the encounter radius will return to normal.
- Spacial Rend cannot be used in conjunction with any other Adventure Effects.
(*) At this time, Spacial Rend will not be obtainable via any TM.
Pokémon GO Tour Sinnoh
Origin Forme Dialgia, the Temporal Pokémon, and Origin Forme Palkia, the Spatial Pokémon, will make their initial debut at Pokémon GO Tour Sinnoh: Los Angeles, followed by the Global Tour, during space-time anomalies.
Trainers participating in Sinnoh Tour Global will have the opportunity to encounter Origin Forme Dialga and Palkia that know their Signature Attacks. The version of the event you choose will affect your chances!
- Trainers who choose Diamond Version will encounter an Origin Forme Dialga that knows Roar of Time.
- Trainers who choose Pearl Version will encounter an Origin Forme Palkia that knows Spacial Rend.

Roar of Time is a Dragon type Charged Attack that is available on Origin Forme Dialga encountered from tier five raids.
- Trainer Battles: 150 Power

Spacial Rend
Spacial Rend is a Dragon type Charged Attack that is available on Origin Forme Palkia encountered from tier five raids.
- Trainer Battles: 95 Power
- Raid Battles: 160 Power
Smeargle that appear via surprise GO Snapshot encounters can learn attacks from the Pokémon they appear with, but Smeargle cannot learn Roar of Time or Spacial Rend.
