Pokémon to Hunt for during the Phantom Ruins Event General icon

Raid icon Good for Raids

  • Rhyhorn evolves into Rhyperior, one of the best Ground and Rock types in the game. Although there are better non-Shadow Pokémon of both types, Shadow Rhyperior is a pure DPS monster, well worth farming Candy to evolve.
  • Shadow Excadrill performs slightly worse than Shadow Rhyperior, but it is still an S Tier Ground and Steel attacker, and not something that is easily dismissed.

Great League icon Good for PvP

  • Dusknoir is a monster in the Great League, and it requires no Candy XL to obtain. Just go ahead and catch as many Duskull as you can, and then get yourself powerful GL team member. Available in Wild Encounters.
  • Drapion is a situational, but very well performing, GL Pokémon. With Crunch and Aqua Tail for coverage, Drapion is a flexible and surprisingly spammy Pokémon worth farming. No Candy XL requirement as well.
  • Golruk also a strong contender for GL and UL, and requires no Candy XL. Available in Wild Encounters. Available in Wild Encounters.
  • Sableye is on par with Dusknoir in GL, an absolute spammy monster that can make your opponent surrender if left unchecked. Candy XL is recommended, but not required, which means this is your time to get a good Sableye! Also, Mega Evolution potential is always exciting. Available in Wild Encounters and Incense Encounters.
