From January 11 2026 to February 15, 2026, every Sunday in Jakarta, Indonesia, Car Free Day (CFD) will celebrate along Jenderal Sudirman street through the MH Thamrin areas.
Each week will highlights different generations of first partner Pokémon (starters) for an exciting event!
Featured Pokémon
Between January 11 to February 15, 2026, 6:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. local time each Sunday different First Partner Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild, and be more attracted to Lure Modules:
Sunday, 11 January 2026 & Sunday, 1 February 2026
Sunday, 18 January 2026 & Sunday, 8 February 2026
Sunday, 25 January 2026 & Sunday, 15 February 2026
Pokémon GO CFD Party event
There will be in person locations for the Pokémon GO CFD Party event during the designated hour:
- Pedestrian area
- fX Sudirman
- Beranda Sarinah
Find the Pokémon GO booth in the locations above during the event and get a photo opportunity with Pikachu! There will be a limited number of gifts distributed at each location. Gifts will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis after completing some simple tasks.
Timed Research
There will be Timed Research available during the event. Complete the Timed Research to earn XP, additional encounters with Pokémon and a chance to encounter the Pikachu wearing a party hat with Jakarta Location Background.
This Timed Research will be available between Sunday, January 11, at 6:00 a.m. to Sunday, January 15, 2026, at 9:45 local time.

Please note that Timed Research expires. The tasks associated with this Timed Research must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before Friday, February 20, 2026.
Field Research
Event-themed Field Research tasks will be available. Complete Field Research tasks for encounters with event-themed Pokémon and a chance to encounter the Pikachu wearing a party hat with Jakarta Location Background.
