你好! The first Pokémon GO City Safari of 2024 has been announced, inviting trainers to visit the city of Tainan, Taiwan. Whether you’re local to the city or travelling from a little further afield, explore with location-themed wild Pokémon encounters, event-exclusive Special Research, and more!
Tickets and Dates
Tickets for Pokémon GO City Safari 2023: Tainan cost NT$300 (plus applicable taxes and fees) and can be purchased here. The event lasts from March 9, 10:00 AM to March 10, 6:00 PM CST.

Ticket Holder bonuses
Ticket-holding Trainers will receive the following bonuses and rewards between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., anywhere in Tainan on their ticketed day:

Lure Modules (excluding Golden Lures) activated during the event will last four hours

Up to five special trades can be made per day, no matter where you are in Tainan

Trades will require 50% less Stardust

Your buddy may find an exclusive Tiny Compass souvenir.

How to purchase tickets
Trainers can either purchase a ticket for one day of the two-day event or a one-day ticket with an additional second day add-on. One-day tickets are €12 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency, plus any applicable taxes and fees) and are available for purchase on the Pokémon GO City Safari website.
You will see “Tickets Available” next to the Pokémon GO City Safari: Tainan event ticket if it hasn’t sold out yet. Event gameplay will be available only at the date, time, and location specified on your ticket.
Note: Tickets to this event are non-refundable (subject to applicable law and the exceptions set forth in the Terms of Service). Tickets are first come, first served and are available for purchase while supplies last.
Encounter Shiny Skiddo and Gogoat
Skiddo and Gogoat will be available to encounter during City Safari Tainan, following their release during the 2023 City Safari event, and at this time of writing is the only way to encounter this exclusive Pokémon. As mentioned in our Pokémon to look out for during City Safari Barcelona 2023 article, Skiddo is the hottest collector’s item right now, so be sure to snag a shiny Skiddo during the event!
It will cost 50 candy to evolve Skiddo into their evolution, Gogoat.

Wild Spawns
Special Pokémon will appear across the city of Tainan during the event! Plus, for the first time in Taiwan, you’ll be able to encounter Skiddo, the Mount Pokémon! Skiddo will currently only appear during Pokémon GO City Safari 2023 events but may appear worldwide at a later date.

Tip: You can upgrade your ticket with the Egg-thusiast add-on to unlock a 1/2 Hatch Distance bonus during the event (full details above). Ticket add-ons are active for both the Saturday and Sunday of Pokémon GO City Safari: Tainan.
Get yourself an Eevee or it’s evolutions wearing Explorer Hat!

Team up with Eevee to assist Professor Willow, as ticket holders will be set off to explore in and around Tainan in your own play style. Eevee is dressed for the occasion —Trainers will encounter Eevee wearing an explorer hat at the beginning of the City Safari Special Research! Explore the city with Eevee as your buddy, and there’s no telling what you may discover!
In addition to the live events, you will also be able to enhance your event experience with optional add-ons. Ticket add-ons are active for both days of Pokémon GO City Safari: Tainan — Friday and Saturday. Trainers with the ticket add-ons will be able to take advantage of the bonuses even on the day that they aren’t taking part in ticketed gameplay.

Enjoy two days of adventure in Tainan! After selecting either a Friday or Saturday ticket, Trainers can purchase an add-on for the other day to make the most of their time.
Purchasing a Friday or Saturday add-on gives Trainers an extra day to enjoy the following bonuses:
