Dondozo

Dondozo, the Big Catfish Pokémon, has made its Pokémon GO debut! If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny one! Dondozo will be available in the 3-Star Raids during the event. Dondozo is a pure Water-type Pokémon.

How to get Dondonzo in Pokémon GO?

During the Sunkissed Shores event, Dondonzo can be caught by defeating it in 3-Star Raids, by completing the US$1.99 Sunkissed Shores Premium Timed Research,
or by completing the “Win 3 One-Star Raids” field research task obtainable from PokéStops and Gyms. Dondozo will not spawn in the wild during this event, and it is not clear if it will be available after the event finishes.

How to get shiny Dondozo?

Shiny Dondozo is releasing at the same time as Dondozo, but has no boosted shiny odds. Usually, the odds for debuting Raid Pokémon are the same as normal shiny odds, 1 in 512 encounters, but we hope this is not the case with shiny Dondozo, as its available during a short time period. We’ll update this article as soon as we know more.
