pokemon GO have announced that the collaboration between Pokémon GO and Major League Baseball is back for the 2026 season! Just like last year, all MLB ballparks during the 2026 season will feature Official Routes for Trainers to explore and club-branded PokéStops and Gyms so anyone can play Pokémon GO from wherever they’re sitting in the ballpark.*
*Note: Select clubs are moving to new locations this season, which means some PokéStops and Gyms will be moving as well.
During the season, Trainers can also attend Pokémon GO–themed ball games. Here are a few things that might be featured at the home team’s ballpark during these themed games.

Timed Research
Event-themed Timed Research will be available upon entering the ballpark during themed games. Complete tasks to earn Stardust, XP, regular Lure Modules, encounters with event-themed Pokémon, and more,

Field Research
Event-themed Field Research tasks will be available from spinning PokéStops within the ballpark. Complete Field Research tasks to earn Stardust, Ultra Balls and more.
Avatar Items
Cheer on your team with exclusive in-game avatar items created in collaboration with Major League Baseball! Starting Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. PDT, Trainers can obtain the home team’s cap as an avatar item by spinning a PokéStop at a ballpark during a Pokémon GO–themed baseball game. These avatar items are available for a limited time!*

Merchandise
Show off team pride for both your home team and Pokémon GO team with special club-branded and Pokémon GO merchandise! Trainers can choose between Team Instinct, Team Mystic, and Team Valor–themed merchandise, at participating clubs.
