Step up your skills with the Catch Mastery: Ice event!
At the start of each month in the Season of Timeless Travels, Trainers will be able to purchase a new ticketed experience for the Egg-spedition ticket that includes bonuses and Timed Research!
But that’s not all – battle enthusiasts can gear up for the GO Battle League Season 17, while raiders prepare for epic confrontations with Reshiram, the Vast White Pokémon, who stars in tier 5 raids this week. Zekrom will takeover from Reshiram, turning light into dark with the Deep Black Pokémon.
And keep your eyes peeled for the elusive Shiny Shadow Zapdos! There’s a plethora of adventures waiting, so trainers, gear up and set out!
Along the Routes
Sneasel (Hisuian)
From December 5 2023 10:00 a.m. to December 8, 2023 8:00 p.m. the new ‘Along the Routes’ event takes place. Shiny Hisuian Sneasel will be available for the first time in Pokémon GO, and we meet new character Mateo! Mateo will appear at the end of routes, and you can exchange gifts with other trainers around the world via his new gift exchange.
Catch Mastery: Ice
December 9, 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m is the Catch Mastery: Ice event! We’ll share more as soon as we can.

Vanillite is the December featured Pokémon! Vanillite may appear as a Shiny Pokémon for the first time in Pokémon GO!
Timeless Travels: Eggs-pedition Access
Provision for the travels ahead! At the start of each month in the Season of Timeless Travels, Trainers will be able to purchase a new ticketed experience that includes bonuses and Timed Research! Throughout Pokémon GO: Timeless Travels, you’ll be able to come across Pokémon found in the Hisui region, and stock up on items like Incubators. Be sure to check out the in-game shop regularly, you never know what wares and wonders you may find. The first is the Egg-spedition ticket for December, with a free single use incubator every day!
GO Battle League Season 17
GO Battle League: Timeless Travels will start on Friday, December 1, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. PT.
The following will occur at the beginning of the Season:
- End-of-Season rewards will be available on the battle screen.
- Your GO Battle League rank will be reset.
- Rank-up requirements will remain the same as the prior
Season.

Tuesday December 5th 6pm till 7pm local time we have Feebas as the featured Pokémon for spotlight hour, along with 2x Candy for catching Pokémon.

Wednesday December 6th 6pm till 7pm local time Reshiram will appear in five-star raids, and it can be shiny!

From December 1 to December 9 Mega Scizor will appear in Mega Raids.
Altaria (Mega)
From December 9 to December 16 Mega Altaria will appear in Mega Raids.
Five-Star Raids
From December 1 to 9 Reshiram will appear in five-star raids, and can be shiny.
From December 9 to 16 Zekrom will appear in five-star raids, and can be shiny.
Shadow Raids
One-star and three-star Shadow Raids will be available daily, while five-star Shadow Raids will take place on Saturdays and Sundays, unless otherwise noted. Also, Shadow Moltres will swoop into five-star Shadow Raids during Timeless Travels!

You may even encounter a Shiny Shadow Zapdos—if you’re lucky!

The following bonuses are specific to Season 13: Timeless Travels.
Trainers level 31 and above will receive one guaranteed Candy XL when trading Pokémon.
One additional Candy when trading Pokémon
Trainers level 31 and above will have a higher chance to receive Rare Candy XL from in-person
five-star raids.
Increased XP for a seven-day PokéStop spin streak.

Research
Season of Adventures Abound Research Breakthrough
- From December 1, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT -7) to March 1, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.
PDT (GMT -7) - Complete Field Research tasks during the whole season to earn an encounter from a pool of Pokémon, including Galarian Weezing, Galarian Mr. Mime, Lapas, Furfrou, Goomy and Jangmo-o.
Season of Timeless Travels Field Research Tasks
Starting this Season, Field Research tasks that previously rotated on a monthly basis will now rotate Seasonally. Field Research tasks that award an encounter with Spinda will still rotate monthly. For a full list of the season field research tasks check out our list here.
