Shiny Feebas

Shiny Feebas turn purple – an easy one to spot! There is a gender difference in Milotic, so if you’re a collector, watch out for this one. The female Milotic has longer fins from its head.

Regular Sprite
Shiny Sprite
Feebas A scruffy, fish-like Pokémon with patchy, dull brown scales and uneven dark spots. Its body is long and oval-shaped, with tired-looking blue eyes, large pink lips, and blue pectoral fins. A ragged-looking fish with a mottled purple body in place of brown, bearing pale greyish-purple spots. Its lips and fins remain pink and blue respectively, giving it a muted but unusual colouration.
Milotic (M) A majestic, serpentine Pokémon with a cream-coloured body and long, elegant pink antennae extending from its head. Its blue tail fins feature striking red and blue fan-like scales, and the eyebrow crests are slightly shorter than the female’s. A shimmering, elegant Pokémon with a cream body and golden-pink tones replacing the usual pink antennae and tail fans. The blue in its tail is replaced with a deep teal-green, and the eyebrow crests are slightly shorter than the female’s.
Milotic (F) Nearly identical to the male, this graceful, serpentine Pokémon also has a cream body and vibrant fan-shaped tail fins. However, the female has slightly longer, more flowing pink eyebrow crests. As with the shiny male, this version has golden-pink accents and deep teal-green fan-shaped tail fins. The longer, flowing pink eyebrow crests distinguish it as female.

Mega Pokémon that boost Feebas

The following Pokémon will grant you extra bonuses when catching Feebas if they are Mega/Primal evolved. It is best to use a Ground type mega so that it will boost both forms of Feebas!

A Note on Mega Catch Bonus

While a Pokémon is Mega-Evolved, additional XP and Candy is granted when catching a Pokémon that shares a type with it, or for any raid boss caught. These do not stack with each other. Additionally, High and Max Level Mega-Evolved Pokémon grant an increased chance to obtain Candy XL when catching a Pokémon that shares a type with it.

Is it worth evolving Feebas?

PVP

Milotic is actually quite decent in the Great League and particularly the Ultra League. Feebas isn’t a super common spawn so now’s a good time to pick some up. Extra bulk tends to produce better results, allowing Milotic to hang around and continue to deal out unresisted damage.

PVE

Milotic ranks as a A+ tier gym defender but an F tier water-type attacker. If you’ve got enough candy to power up, it’s worth having some to pop in gyms.
