Chasing Legends Special Research – Tasks and Rewards

Chasing Legends is a Pokémon GO Hoenn Tour Global Event-exclusive Special Research. Professor Willow has tasked Rhi with researching Hoenn folklore about the Red and Blue Orbs—items which are said to have some connection to Primal Kyogre and Primal Groudon—and Rhi needs your help!

Chasing Legends Special Research requires players to make a choice between Cacnea, Gulpin and Surskit, but also between Ruby and Sapphire teams:

• After Step 1, you’ll make a choice between Cacnea, Gulpin and Surskit. Your choice will be attracted more by Incense and you can earn extra encounters of your choice via Special Research!
• Your team choice determines (Ruby or Sapphire) if you get Primal Omega Energy or Primal Alpha Energy in Step 3 and Step 4.
