Whiscash in the Pokémon GO meta
Average stats, unremarkable moves and no clear advantage over any of the meta-defining Pokemon make Whiscash a disappointing addition to the game. On the other had Whiscash can give a really good beating to fire and rock type opponents, but that’s about it.
Whiscash does not have any further evolution.Where to find Barboach and Whiscash?
You can encounter Barboach and Whiscash on small and large bodies of water. Keep an eye on park ponds, lakes, the beach, medium to large size canals as they are most likely to spawn there.
Pokémon GO Whiscash Moves
Best moveset: Mud Shot with Mud Bomb or Water Pulse
Although Whiscash’s move pool looks interesting at first glance, its super simple – Mud Shot generates more Energy than Water Gun and is a better fit for most matchups.
Charge moves are a mess, with Blizzard having no real matchups – go for Mud Bomb or Water Pulse, depending on the Whiscash role on your team.
Whiscash move pool:
- Mud Shot ground (quick)
- Water Gun water (quick)
- Water Pulse water (2 bar, charge)
- Mud Bomb ground (3 bar, charge)
