Dratini

Dratini is a Tier 1 raid boss in Pokémon Go and is a part of the Pokémon Go Ultra Anniversary event running from Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at 10:00 am local time, to Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at 8:00 pm local time.

Being a pure Dragon type, it is weak to the Dragon, Fairy and Ice types.

Dratini goes on to evolve into the powerful Dragonite, a fan favorite and pseudo legendary that has remained meta relevant in both PvE and PvP for years now. A Dratini raid is a great way to possibly get a high IV Shiny for yourself. Get that little pink dragon, y’all! Just a note, it is a full odds shiny (roughly 1 in 500), so it is a tricky shiny to get.

Dratini can be caught with the following CP values:

529 – 574 CP at Level 20, no weather boost
661 – 717 CP at Level 25 with Windy weather boost

It is an easy solo.

Dratini Raid Counters

Since Shadow Pokémon are extremely expensive to power up and require specific events to remove Frustration with a Charge TM, they will NOT be listed as raid counters in this article. That being said, if you have the shadow form of a listed raid counter Pokémon powered up and TMed, use it.
