The GO Fest 2026: A Thunderous Discovery Special Research becomes available during Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Global.

The eight-part quest follows Professor Willow’s search for the Mythical Pokémon Zeraora. Trainers will explore, catch and power up Electric-type Pokémon, complete raids, and eventually encounter Zeraora before spending time with their new partner.

Professor Willow has heard that the Mythical Pokémon Zeraora is nearby, possibly drawn to the gathering of powerful Trainers. The search begins by exploring the area and showing Zeraora what Trainers are capable of.
