GO Wild Area Special and Timed Research Tasks and Rewards

GO Wild Area Special and Timed Research is available starting from November 23, 2024 at 10:00 am local time. Trainers participating in the event will be able to complete all of this throughout both days of the event.

Wild Area Global Special Research

The main Special Research released during Wild Area 2024 is a branching timed research line featuring Toxtricity and Rock Star Pikachu. The research starts with the “An Accomplished Trainer” stage, branches into five “Amp it Up” or five “Keep it Low Key” stages, and unlocks the “A Truly Accomplished Trainer” stage.

Throw Wild

Throw Wild Timed Research introduces the Safari Ball that is usable only during the Wild Area event. Safari Balls are perfect for catching Mighty Pokémon, which are stronger and more difficult versions of wild Pokémon encounters. You can only complete Throw Wild once, but you will get an hourly restock Timed Research.
