Raticate is a Tier 3 raid boss. Being a pure Normal, it is weak to only the Fighting type.

This Pokémon is obtainable with the following CP values:

• 930 – 989 CP at Level 20, no weather boost
• 1163 – 1236 CP at Level 25, with Partly Cloudy weather boost

Raticate is an easy solo raid for high-level trainers. Two low-level players can beat Raticate by using optimal Fighting type counters.

It is worth noting that Raticate caught during the Pokémon GO New Year 2026 Event will be wearing a party hat and can be shiny!
