Pokémon GO Season of Hidden Gems is here! Hidden Gems lasts from June 1, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. until September 1, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. During the Season of Hidden Gems brand new Pokémon will make their debut, Shadow Raids begin their rotations, and we focus on the mysteries of the hidden gems, with secrets to be revealed as the season progresses.
In a significant update, increased damage for remote raid participants will now be a permanent feature, and no longer a seasonal bonus. The same amount of damage will be dealt by those raiding in person, and remotely.

Seasonal bonuses: Hidden Gems
The following bonuses are specific to Season 11, aka the Hidden Gems:
- One additional special trade per day
- One additional Pokémon candy when trading
- For trainers level 31 and above, one guaranteed XL Candy when trading
GO Battle League Season 15 (Hidden Gems)
GO Battle League Season 15 (Hidden Gems) also runs alongside the Season of Hidden Gems, bringing new GBL Cups, new moves for select Pokémon, and new rank up rewards.

Sandygast and Palossand make their Pokémon GO Debuts
Many Pokémon will make their Pokémon GO debuts throughout the course of this Season, Hidden Gems!
Both Sandygast, the Sand Heap Pokémon, and Palossand, the Sand Castle Pokémon, will debut during the Water Festival 2023: Beach Week event. These Pokémon were originally discovered in the Alola region from Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon. These Ground and Ghost type Pokémon are known to possess and curse people, so keep an eye out!
Carbing debuts as well!
CarbinkCarbink, the Jewel Pokémon, will also make its Pokémon GO debut during Hidden Gems! But where will Carbink first appear? Carbink is a dual Rock and Fairy type Pokémon.

Familiar Shadow Pokémon Debut in Shadow Raids
Are you ready to face the Shadow Raid Bosses, Trainers? Shadow Raids will be available during Hidden Gems starting on Monday, June 5, at 10 a.m. local time.
One-Star and Three-Star Shadow Raids will be available daily, while Five-Star Shadow Raids will be available exclusively on Saturdays and Sundays, unless otherwise noted.
Articuno (Shadow)Also, during Hidden Gems, Shadow Articuno will be available to battle in Five-Star Shadow Raids! For the first time in Pokémon GO, you may even encounter a Shiny Shadow Articuno, if you’re lucky

Season of Hidden Gems Research Breakthrough Box
- From June 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT -7) to September 1, 2023, at 1:00 p.m.
PDT (GMT -7) - Complete Field Research tasks during the whole season to earn an encounter from a pool of Pokémon, including Sableye, Beldum, Audino, Furfrou, Noibat and Goomy.
Also, starting this Season, Field Research tasks that previously rotated on a monthly basis will now rotate Seasonally. Field Research tasks that award an encounter with Spinda will still rotate monthly.
