Tentacruel Raid Guide

Tentacruel is a dual Water and Poison type tier 3 raid boss, with a raid boss CP of 16253. Best Tentacruel counters are strong Electric Ground and Psychic type Pokémon. Tentacruel will be soloable for the prepared higher level trainer, but lower level trainers, or those without optimal counters, may want to bring a friend to ensure success.

The CP ranges of Tentacruel are as follows:

1314 – 1384 (at level 20)
1643 – 1730 (at level 25 with Rainy and Cloudy weather boost)

Tentacruel Raid Counters

Since Shadow Pokémon are extremely expensive to power up and require specific events to remove Frustration with a Charge TM, they will NOT be listed as raid counters in this article. That being said, if you have the shadow form of a listed raid counter Pokémon powered up and TMed, use it.
