To commemorate the release of the limited-time collection between Pokémon and adidas, certain items will be available as avatar items in Pokémon GO. Trainers can obtain Timed Research by visiting select adidas stores and retail stores worldwide from September 25, 2026, to January 15, 2027.
Timed Research
Add to your avatar’s wardrobe by going to one of the participating adidas locations and opening Pokémon GO, Trainers can get event-themed Timed Research that awards an adidas jacket and cap for your in-game avatar. Trainers can also complete the research tasks to earn the following:
- XP
- Stardust,
- An encounter with Lucario
- Lucario Mega Energy
- And more

Note on Timed Research
Please note that Timed Research can be obtained by visiting adidas locations until Friday, January 15, 2027, at 8:00 p.m. local time. After obtaining the Timed Research, the associated tasks must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before Saturday, February 13, 2027, at 8:00 p.m. local time.

Adidas x Pokémon Shoes
Adidas are back with another epic shoe collection in collaboration with Pokémon to celebrate 30th years of Pokémon! It released on September 1st 2026, and features Pikachu, Charmander, Charmeleon, Charizard, Gastly, Haunter, Gengar, Mewtwo, and Rayquaza. A variety of different iconic Adidas styles get the Pokémon treatment, including the Samba, Superstar II, and Megaride F50.
