General Ticket 1 and 3 are for Go Fest, interestingly enough Ticket 2 is for Weedle Community Day. Also, we’ve never seen a single event take up two tickets before. Niantic announced that Go Fest 2020 will be a 2-day event, and that people will be able to participate in both days. I wonder if we’ll have to pay for each day individually in order to be able to play, which if we’re being honest makes sense.

It looks like quite a bit of this has been updated, and Willow apparently thinks that Weedle has a “honkable nose”

They’ve updated the text to indicate that you’re not “Online”, but sharing your Online status… cause you need to be online to play the game. It also appears that this flag will cross games as well, so once you opt-in for one game you opt-in for them all.
It’ll be interesting to see if you’re friends list will indicate if you’re playing one of the other Niantic games or not, or just that you’re “Online”.
Gift Updates

A seemingly minor update, probably based on timezones and stuff… technically some trainers on your friend list will be able to receive a gift from you before your days is over because of timezones. Hopefully, this means that we’re getting the giftable sort soon?

Some error messages for remote invites. Still a work in progress, but they said it was coming soon. So fingers crossed? It won’t be until at least Zekrom is in raids though, so don’t hold your breath just yet.

Dragon Boat Festival

The official Chinese Dragon Boat Festival is Thursday, June 25th to Saturday, June 27th
Niantic has already announced that the solstice-themed event will end on June 24th and The Bug Out event start on June 26th. So maybe we’ll see a one-day event? Hopefully, with a ton of Dragon spawns?
Conclusions and Speculation
Are you excited to have a global Go Fest wherever you play? I for one am disappointed that we won’t be having an in-person Go Fest, but I understand given the circumstances that was not an option.
I met so many awesome people last year, and had an awesome road trip with a couple of good friends to get there too! (Even if my van decided it wanted to protest halfway there) Missing the connection to people from around the world is something that will surely be missed, for a lot of you I’m sure.
