The Mega cooldown is being called a Rest period, and it appears that the Rest period initially will be at least a day, likely more. It’s unclear if the Max level Rest Period will be a day or more at this point.

You will need to Mega evolve a Pokémon with Mega energy once, and then after that, you will be able to Mega evolve it for free once the Mega rest period has run out.
You will be able to Mega Evolve the Pokémon with Mega energy before the rest period runs out, and the amount of Mega energy you need to spend to do so will depend on how much time is left in the rest period.

Mega PvP?

This bit mentions trainer battles, which could be Team Go Rocket battles, but it could be PvP. We are getting a ‘MEGA” GBL day at the end of the current season. So who knows.

Quite a few new settings to alter the quality of the graphics, including 4 presets Low, Medium, High, and Max. There are also a bunch of typos in there as well, so if you’re reading this Niantic these bits are probably worth a read through. 🙂
Change your in-game language
