Niantic has shared more details about the avatar items that will be released at the upcoming Pokémon GO Tour Unova events that take place in New Taipei City and Los Angeles.
In addition to the new avatar items, the company shared that Junichi Masuda – yes, THAT Junichi Masuda – is making a music track that will debut at GO Tour Unova!
Here’s everything that was shared in the official blog post!
Get ready for new pieces of featured music inspired by Pokémon Black Version, Pokémon White Version, Pokémon Black Version 2, and Pokémon White Version 2!
This music was composed by Junichi Masuda, Pokémon video game series composer and Chief Creative Fellow of The Pokémon Company!
You’ll be able to hear the new music while walking on the map, catching Pokémon, taking on Raid Battles, and loading the game!

Black and White Joggers and Hoodie

These two are silly… and they require you to purchase add-ons for the event to get them:

- In the Road to Unova: Hatch add-on, you’ll get Egg hatching–themed bonuses, Pokémon encounters, and the Black and White Hoodie avatar item.
These tickets will be available for purchase from Monday, February 24, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, March 2, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. local time. Trainers can purchase just one or both of these tickets. Each ticket features Timed Research tasks, rewards, and bonuses.
During Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Global, Trainers will be able to pick between two event badges, Black Version (Reshiram) and White Version (Zekrom). The badge you pick will determine certain rewards and bonuses!
To get the most out of these bonuses, be sure to start the global event Special Research story “It’s Not Over Yet” and select your event badge when it becomes available. This Special Research will be available beginning on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
For Trainers who choose the Black Version (Reshiram) badge:
- Receive Reshiram-themed Special Research rewards.
- All Kyurem encountered after defeating Black Kyurem in five-star raids will know the Charged Attack Glaciate.
For Trainers who choose the White Version (Zekrom) badge:

The badge you select may hold even more power…so stay tuned for more information!
Ticket-holding Trainers attending Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – New Taipei City or Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Los Angeles won’t select a badge—all Kyurem encountered after defeating Black Kyurem and White Kyurem in five-star raids will be guaranteed to know the Charged Attack Glaciate!
