Ticket information 🎟️

Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Los Angeles is a ticketed event. 

  • Tickets will cost $30, but there is a special early bird discount until December 31st, 2024, with tickets reduced to $25.
  • Tickets for Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Los Angeles include one day of event gameplay, but attendees may purchase add-ons that extend the citywide gameplay for an additional day.
  • One-day tickets are US$30.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency, plus any applicable taxes and fees) and are available for purchase on the Pokémon GO Tour website.
  • You will see “Tickets Available” next to the Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Los Angeles event ticket if it hasn’t sold out yet. Event gameplay will be available only at the date, time, and location specified on your ticket.
  • You will only be able to experience the event gameplay within Rose Bowl Stadium during the time noted on your event ticket.

Black and White Kyurem first debut during GO Tour Unova, February 21 – 23, 2025, at Los Angeles. Participating Trainers will gain access to a Special Research Story during their park ticketed event day, that will allow them to learn more about this new type of Pokémon Fusion.

Volt Fusion Energy and Blaze Fusion Energy are a new type of rare Energy that is used to fuse Kyurem into it’s powerful Black and White alternative forms.

Volt Fusion Energy and Blaze Fusion Energy can be earned by defeating Black or White Kyurem in five-star raids.

When Black and White Kyurem are fused, their appearance isn’t the only thing that changes, they also gain access to brand new Charged Attacks! Black Kyurem gains access to the new Ice type Charged Attack Freeze Shock, whilst White Kyurem gains access to the new Ice type Charged Attack Ice Burn.

Masterwork Research: Shiny Meloetta

For the first time in Pokémon GO, shiny Meloetta will be available via special Masterwork Research during the Unova Tour! This Masterwork Research will become available to purchase later for the global event.

Masterwork Research does not expire, and is included in the price of your ticket. Ticket Holding trainers can access this Masterwork Research during the in-person Los Angeles event.

Shiny Deerling Debut!

Trainers who attend the Los Angeles Unova Tour will be able to potentially encounter shiny Deerling for the first time in Pokémon GO! Deerling, the Season Pokémon, takes on a different appearance during each season. Be sure to visit each habitat to encounter all four different forms of Deerling!

  • The Shiny Deerling is a fairly subtle change, with the flower on their head changing to a light pink.
  • The Shiny Sawsbuck is a lot more noticeable, with the body becoming more golden toned.

Pokémon GO Tour Unova Shiny

During Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Los Angeles, even more Pokémon will make their shiny debut in Pokémon GO!

For the first time Shiny Bouffalant, Shiny Maractus, and Shiny Sigilyph will all be available for the first time. During the event they will hatch from 10km eggs, and you can purchase an Egg-thusiast ticket to maximise your bonuses!

Ticket-holding Trainers at the in-person event in Los Angeles may have increased luck in encountering Shiny Pokémon. Shiny Pokémon are not guaranteed by purchasing a ticket.

Unova Snapshots!

Pokémon GO Tour Unova Pikachu Costumes

Take a snapshot during the event, and you could encounter a new costumed Pikachu! Pikachu wearing Hilda’s Hat, Hilbert’s Hat, Rosa’s Visor and Nate’s Visor will all be available for the first time in Pokémon GO.

You can get up to 12 event themed GO Snapshot encounters per ticketed event day, including during city-wide gameplay add on days!

Two Sides to Every Story

Professor Willow

Professor Willow has gotten word of strange sightings across the worlds, and the question is, could Reshiram and Zekrom be related to these occurrences?

Ticket Holding trainers in Los Angeles can claim an exclusive Special Research story during their Rose Bowl ticketed session. Trainers in LA will also get access to this Special Research a week later during Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Global!

Incarnate Timed Research

Incarnate Formes of Landorus, Thundurus and Tornadus

New Timed Research will be available for ticket holding trainers in Los Angeles, awarding encounters with the Incarnate Formes of Landorus, Thundurus and Tornadus!

Decipher clues around the Rose Bowl Stadium and spin the corresponding PokéStops to continue in your research. Stuck on a clue? Check your Pokédex for help! 

Please note that Timed Research expires. The tasks and rewards associated with this timed research must be completed and claimed before 5:00 p.m. PST on your event ticketed day. Trainers will only be able to access the Rose Bowl Stadium and Brookside Golf Course during their ticketed event day.

Party Play!

New Party Play! challenges will be available to ticket holding trainers. Work together with your friends to earn encounters with Heatmor, Durant, Sawk and Throh.

You can form a party and complete these challenges both at the Rose Bowl Stadium, and throughout the city.


Raids

Five-Star Raids

The following Pokémon will be appearing in Raids alternating each hour during your ticketed event hours. Reshiram will appear first, followed by Zekrom:

All Kyurem encountered after defeating Black Kyurem and White Kyurem in five-star raids will be guaranteed to know the Charged Attack Glaciate!

Tip: Take advantage of the event’s nine bonus daily Raid Passes! For even more Raid Passes, you can purchase the Raid Lover add-on and increase the number of free daily Raid Passes you can earn during the event to 18 per day! Ticket add-ons are active from Friday, February 21, 2025, at 12:00 a.m. local time to Sunday, February 23, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. local time.


Wild Encounters

Special Pokémon will appear in unique habitats during the event. When you purchase your ticket, you’ll be able to select which habitat to start your day in! Don’t worry, you’ll be able to visit all four habitats throughout the event. A map of the venue and habitats will be available closer to the event time.

*Outside of Rose Bowl Stadium, Trainers playing throughout the city of Los Angeles during their ticketed event hours (including Trainers with a Citywide Gameplay add-on) can encounter wild Pokémon from all habitats.

Explore Los Angeles

Metro Stations Event PokéStops

Near select Metro Stations throughout Los Angeles special event themed PokéStops will be appearing in-game. Team GO Rocket have turned Pokémon from the Unova region into Shadow Pokémon, and you need to work to save them!

Pokémon encounters from Grunts can be shiny, if you are lucky!

Plus, after defeating these Grunts, you’ll earn special Unova themed rewards, including 12km eggs which contain the following Pokémon:

You’ll be able to encounter these special PokéStops even if you don’t have an event ticket. They will be active from December 3rd at 10:00am local time, until March 4th, 10:00am local time.

These PokéStops are only available at Metro Rail Stations in Los Angeles. 

Routes

Blue and Red Striped Basculin will appear more frequently on routes throughout Los Angeles! Please note, no routes are available at the Rose Bowl Stadium or Brookside Golf Course.

Ticket-holding Trainers at the in-person Pokémon GO Tour: Unova events in Los Angeles will be able to get Pokémon GO Tour: Unova–themed stickers from PokéStops and Gifts from Friday, February 21, at 9:00 a.m. to Sunday, February 23, at 8:00 p.m. local time.

All Trainers will be able to get Pokémon GO Tour: Unova–themed stickers from PokéStops and Gifts from Monday, February 25, at 9:00 a.m. to Sunday, March 2, at 8:00 p.m. local time.

These stickers will also be available in the in-game shop from Friday, February 21, at 9:00 a.m. to Sunday, March 2, at 8:00 p.m. local time.


Gameplay Ticket Add-Ons

Tickets for Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Los Angeles include one day of event gameplay, and attendees may purchase add-ons that extend the citywide gameplay for an additional day, or days. One-day tickets are US$30.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency, plus any applicable taxes and fees, plus applicable taxes and fees) and are available for purchase on the Pokémon GO Tour website.

You will see “Tickets Available” next to the Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Los Angeles event ticket if it hasn’t sold out yet. Event gameplay will be available only at the date, time, and location specified on your ticket.

Note: Tickets to this event are nonrefundable (subject to applicable law and the exceptions set forth in the Terms of Service). Tickets are first come, first served and are available for purchase while supplies last.

As optional bonuses for attendees, we’re offering several add-ons. Please note: it’s possible to add these to your ticket after your initial order, so if you can’t decide right away, you can always come back to purchase an add-on later!

Citywide Gameplay ($20)

Extend the GO Tour fun and enjoy a city experience throughout Los Angeles on the extra day, or days, of your choice! This add-on provides an additional day of the citywide gameplay experience that is available on your primary event day with a few restrictions.

These add-ons only enable additional citywide gameplay. The Rose Bowl Stadium and Brookside Golf Course event experience is only available on your primary event day at the time indicated on your ticket. 

The Citywide Gameplay tickets are available for Friday, Saturday or Sunday, depending on your ticketed day.

How to Buy a Ticket

Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Los Angeles tickets are now available!

To purchase tickets: Click here or Open the Pokémon GO app.

  • In Map View, tap the Main Menu button.
  • Tap Events.
  • On the following page, all upcoming live events will be listed, with the soonest event at the top.
  • You’ll see the label “Tickets Available!” next to an event if it hasn’t sold out yet. Tap the event to select the date and time you wish to attend, purchase tickets for friends (see the “Gift a ticket to a Friend!” section below), and input your payment information to complete your purchase.
  • On the payment confirmation page, please note your order ID. You’ll also receive a confirmation email at the address you entered before payment.

Gift a Ticket

If you would like to purchase a ticket for one of your friends, you’ll need their username. While purchasing, there are boxes where you can fill in the usernames of the friends that you would like to buy tickets for—one name per box.

  • Tap “Add.” Make sure that the spelling is correct.
  • Confirm your selection.
  • Your gift will be on its way!

Note: You must be at least Great Friends with the Trainer you wish to give a ticket to. You must also assign the entire quantity of tickets that you selected to eligible friends before you can proceed to payment. You can only purchase tickets for one date and time per order, so all friends will receive tickets for the same date and time.

Rose Bowl Stadium Information

How to Enter

To start your journey, make your way to Rose Bowl Stadium. Rose Bowl Stadium is situated in the heart of Pasadena, a little under 30 miles from Los Angeles International Airport, and is easily accessible on foot, by private vehicle, and by public transit from Old Pasadena.

Trainers can enter the Pokémon GO Tour 2025 experience via three entrances.

  • Gate A (Recommended for Autumn Masquerade and Summer Vacation)
  • Gate G (Recommended for Autumn Masquerade and Summer Vacation)
  • Gate K (Recommended for Winter Caverns and Spring Soiree)

Please note that your ticket purchase designates your starting time, date, and habitat at Rose Bowl Stadium. You WILL NOT be able to play in the stadium or golf course before your assigned time and date. You must have a ticket in order to access the venue and gameplay.

Transport Options

There are a few different ways to travel to the Rose Bowl Stadium, including public transport and more.

Airport

  • Pasadena’s major airport is Hollywood Burbank Airport. It takes approximately 25 minutes to drive from the airport to Rose Bowl Stadium.
  • Los Angeles International Airport is 28.3 miles away from Pasadena. It takes approximately 50–60 minutes to drive from the airport to Rose Bowl Stadium. Expect traffic and plan accordingly.

Rideshare/Taxis
Uber, Lyft, and taxis have designated drop-off locations at Rose Bowl Stadium. Rideshare may drop-off in Lot H (34.157860, -118.164478).

Metro
Trainers can take the A Line from any of the following stations in downtown Los Angeles to get to Pasadena.

  • Pico
  • 7th St./Metro Center
  • Grand Ave. Arts/Bunker Hill
  • Historic Broadway
  • Little Tokyo/Arts District

Biking/Wheeled Devices

You are welcome to ride your bike to the event, but the use of wheeled devices (bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, scooters, etc.) at Rose Bowl Stadium is not permitted.

  • Bike racks available on a first-come, first-served basis in North Lot I (34.156206, -118.166534).
  • Children’s strollers and wheeled equipment used by disabled individuals are permitted.

Parking

Parking at Rose Bowl Stadium must be purchased in advance of Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Los Angeles. Limited parking will be available on event days. Parking is available for purchase here.

  • Paid parking purchased before arrival: $34.00
  • Paid parking purchased upon arrival at Rose Bowl Stadium: $35.00
  • RV/Limo paid parking: $80.00

Accessible Parking

All lots at Rose Bowl Stadium have designated ADA parking spaces. There will be reserved ADA parking spaces available. ADA parking spaces have the same parking fees at Rose Bowl stated above.

Overnight RV Parking

No RV parking will be allowed overnight at Rose Bowl.

Bag Policy

The Rose Bowl Stadium has implemented a clear bag policy for Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Los Angeles. Please ensure that you have an approved bag prior to arriving at the Rose Bowl Stadium.

Approved Bags:

  • 12” x 6” x 12” clear plastic bag
  • 1-gallon plastic freezer bag
  • Clutch with a shoulder strap (clutch may not be larger than 4.5” x 6.5”)
  • Clutch with a wrist strap (clutch may not be larger than 4.5” x 6.5”)
  • Diaper bag, as long as accompanied by a child

Portable Battery Policy

The Rose Bowl Stadium has implemented a portable battery policy for Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Los Angeles. One portable battery will be allowed per person, and the battery must be the size of a smartphone or smaller. Additional portable batteries and oversized batteries brought must be returned to your vehicle.

PokéStop charging stations will be positioned throughout Rose Bowl Stadium and Brookside Golf Course during the event, so Trainers can fuel up for their adventures!

Prohibited Items

The Rose Bowl Stadium has their own rules about what can and cannot enter the stadium, be sure to have a read as some are fairly unusual!

Allowed:

  • Strollers (cannot be stored in an aisle or under a seat, and are not permitted on the Rose Bowl Stadium field)
  • Binoculars
  • Blankets, sheets, towels
  • Cameras (basic point-and-shoot consumer-grade cameras)
  • Sealed sunscreen (no aerosol containers)
  • Factory-sealed bottles of water or empty reusable water bottles (free water-filling stations are available on-site)

Prohibited:

Large bags, backpacks, and purses

Animals

  • Only Service animals will be permitted inside the event space with proper credentials. Service animals include guide dogs, signal dogs, or other animals that have been trained to provide support to a person with disabilities. Any other animal poses a threat to the health and safety of others and will not be permitted inside the event space.

Sports and Play Equipment

  • Balls, toys, or sports equipment
  • Skates, skateboards, hoverboards, or bicycles
  • Scooters, wagons, carts (including red wagons), or any personal motorized vehicles (not including assistance devices)
  • Water guns or squirt guns

Banners, Flags, and Poles

  • Banners, signs, poles, flags, banners, totems, or sticks

Containers and Coolers

  • Beverage containers larger than 32 oz./1 liter (factory-sealed plastic bottles and empty reusable bottles allowed; limit 2 per person)
  • Cans, glass bottles, glass containers, or alcoholic beverages
  • Coolers of any kind (exceptions may be made for medical use)

Drones and Remote-Controlled Devices

  • Drones or any other remote flying devices

Smoking and Tobacco Products

  • Smoking is prohibited at the Rose Bowl Stadium, both indoors and outdoors, pursuant to Pasadena Municipal Code Chapter 8.78
  • Smoking or vaping of any form of cannabis product is not allowed anywhere in the Licensed Premises

Alcohol and Drugs

  • Cigarettes, e-cigs, or vaping devices
  • Illegal and illicit substances of any kind
  • Drugs or drug paraphernalia
  • Consumption of alcoholic beverages except in designated areas. It is prohibited to consume alcoholic beverages on roadways, parking lots, playgrounds, swimming pools, athletic fields, tennis courts, community centers, and at youth events without prior approval of the Director of Parks & Recreation or designee.

Firearms and Weapons

  • Carrying, possessing, or discharging of firearms, firecrackers, rockets, torpedoes, fireworks, slingshots, or boomerangs within any County facility and parks is prohibited

Food and Cooking

  • Outside food (except for those with medical dietary restrictions)
  • Preparation or cooking of food on-site

Cameras and Audio/Video Equipment

  • Unauthorized cameras with lenses longer than 3.5 inches, interchangeable or telephoto lenses
  • Unauthorized video cameras and equipment
  • Camera accessories, such as selfie sticks, tripods, monopods, GoPro mounts and attachments, or other commercial equipment
  • Professional audio recording equipment
  • Professional-grade radios or walkie-talkies

Large Items

  • Boxes or wrapped packages
  • Large backpacks (no frames or camping gear)
  • Stadium seat cushions with metal frames
  • Umbrellas
  • Chairs of any kind

Noise and Music

  • Noisemakers, including thunder sticks, musical instruments, whistles, air horns, and boom boxes
  • Excessively loud music from external or internal vehicle speakers or portable radios (defined as music at a level that annoys other park users or neighbors)

Tents and Structures

  • Tents, canopies, or shade structures of any kind
  • Hammocks
  • Anything that requires being affixed to park features

Unauthorized Activities and Vendors

  • Unauthorized/unlicensed vendors
  • Unauthorized solicitation and materials, including handbills, flyers, stickers, giveaways, samples, etc.
  • Sale or bartering of goods/services, food, and/or beverages without prior approval of the Director of Parks & Recreation or designee

Miscellaneous

  • Aerosol containers (including sunscreen and personal beauty products)
  • Helium balloons
  • Laser pointers
  • Fires, other than those in designated picnic stoves, grills, braziers, or fire pits
