Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Global invites you to take part in this worldwide event inspired by the Unova region, first featured in Pokémon Black and Pokémon White on the Nintendo DS.
No ticket is required to participate in Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Global! Get ready to experience new gameplay inspired by the stories and characters of Pokémon Black, Pokémon White, Pokémon Black Version 2, and Pokémon White Version 2.
There is also a free Tour Pass available to all trainers that will increase your bonuses and rewards throughout the event. You can also choose to upgrade to a paid version called the Tour Pass Deluxe which gives additional rewards. Read on for more information!

Hatching bonuses

On March 1 2025 Black and White Kyurem will debut globally in five-star raids during the global Unova Tour! When completing the five-star raid for either Black or White Kyurem, you will then have the opportunity to catch Kyurem in its unfused form.
All Trainers will have the opportunity to access a Special Research Story during the global event to learn more about both forms of Kyurem.
Volt Fusion Energy and Blaze Fusion Energy are a new type of rare Energy that is used to fuse Kyurem into it’s powerful Black and White alternative forms. Volt Fusion Energy and Blaze Fusion Energy can be earned by defeating Black or White Kyurem in five-star raids.
When Black and White Kyurem are fused, their appearance isn’t the only thing that changes, they also gain access to brand new Charged Attacks! Black Kyurem gains access to the new Ice type Charged Attack Freeze Shock, whilst White Kyurem gains access to the new Ice type Charged Attack Ice Burn.

For the first time in Pokémon GO, shiny Meloetta will be available via special Masterwork Research during the Unova Tour! A ticket for Masterwork Research that will lead to an encounter with Shiny Melotta will be made available to purchase globally. Stay tuned for additional details!
Masterwork Research does not expire, so you can complete it at your own pace!
During Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Global, you’ll be able to encounter Shiny Deerling in Pokémon GO-if you’re lucky! Deerling, the Season Pokémon, takes on a different appearance during each season. The season-themed habitats will rotate hourly, so be sure to explore each one and encounter them all!
- The Shiny Deerling is a fairly subtle change, with the flower on their head changing to a light pink.
- The Shiny Sawsbuck is a lot more noticeable, with the body becoming more golden toned.

New Party Play challenges will be available during the event! Work together with friends to earn encounters with Throh, Sawk, Heatmor, and Durant! The following Pokémon will be appearing in Raids alternating each hour during your ticketed event hours. Reshiram will appear first, followed by Zekrom: Related Raid Guides: Reshiram / Zekrom / Black Kyurem / White Kyurem The following Pokémon will be appearing in Raids: Related Raid Guides: Druddigon Event-themed Pokémon will appear in unique season-themed habitats during the event! Also, for the first time in Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to encounter Shiny Deerling in the wild —if you’re lucky! The following Pokémon will be attracted to Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) during event hours: The following Pokémon will be hatching from eggs: The following Pokémon will be available as shinies for the first time in Pokémon GO: Trainers with an event ticket will have a boosted chance of obtaining event themed field research. The Basculin encountered from this field research have an increased chance of being XXS and XXL sizes! During Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Global, a limited number of PokéStops may just give you enigma Field Research when you spin them. Complete these tasks for encounters with the following Pokémon, who are guaranteed to have Special Backgrounds: Team Leader themed Timed Research is available during the event. There is a mysterious difference between rewards – some Trainers get a Rocket Radar, others get Incense. We are not sure why, it might depend on a previous investigation related to Team Leaders. These special moves will be available during Pokémon GO Tour Unova, by evolving the appropriate Pokémon: Open Gifts and spin Poké Stops to collect these exclusive GO Tour Unova stickers. From Monday, February 24 10:00 am to Sunday, March 2, 2025, at 6:00 pm local time the new Tour Pass and Tour Pass Deluxe will be available in Pokémon GO.
