Pokémon GO Tour Unova: Global

Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Global invites you to take part in this worldwide event inspired by the Unova region, first featured in Pokémon Black and Pokémon White on the Nintendo DS.

No ticket is required to participate in Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Global! Get ready to experience new gameplay inspired by the stories and characters of Pokémon Black, Pokémon White, Pokémon Black Version 2, and Pokémon White Version 2.

There is also a free Tour Pass available to all trainers that will increase your bonuses and rewards throughout the event. You can also choose to upgrade to a paid version called the Tour Pass Deluxe which gives additional rewards. Read on for more information!

Hatching bonuses

All Trainers will receive the following bonuses and rewards between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m local time on event days!

Black and White Kyurem Debut

On March 1 2025 Black and White Kyurem will debut globally in five-star raids during the global Unova Tour! When completing the five-star raid for either Black or White Kyurem, you will then have the opportunity to catch Kyurem in its unfused form.

All Trainers will have the opportunity to access a Special Research Story during the global event to learn more about both forms of Kyurem.

Volt Fusion Energy and Blaze Fusion Energy are a new type of rare Energy that is used to fuse Kyurem into it’s powerful Black and White alternative forms. Volt Fusion Energy and Blaze Fusion Energy can be earned by defeating Black or White Kyurem in five-star raids.

When Black and White Kyurem are fused, their appearance isn’t the only thing that changes, they also gain access to brand new Charged Attacks! Black Kyurem gains access to the new Ice type Charged Attack Freeze Shock, whilst White Kyurem gains access to the new Ice type Charged Attack Ice Burn.

Masterwork Research: Shiny Meloetta

For the first time in Pokémon GO, shiny Meloetta will be available via special Masterwork Research during the Unova Tour! A ticket for Masterwork Research that will lead to an encounter with Shiny Melotta will be made available to purchase globally. Stay tuned for additional details!

Masterwork Research does not expire, so you can complete it at your own pace!

Shiny Deerling Debut!

During Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Global, you’ll be able to encounter Shiny Deerling in  Pokémon GO-if you’re lucky! Deerling, the Season Pokémon, takes on a different  appearance during each season. The season-themed habitats will rotate hourly, so be sure to explore each one and encounter them all!

• The Shiny Deerling is a fairly subtle change, with the flower on their head changing to a light pink.
• The Shiny Sawsbuck is a lot more noticeable, with the body becoming more golden toned.

For lucky Trainers, Shiny Maractus, Shiny Sigilyph, and Shiny Bouffalant will be available globally for the first time during Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Global!

Following Professor Willow’s shocking discoveries during the real-world Pokémon GO Tour: Unova events in New Taipei City and Los Angeles, Trainers around the world will need to band together and end the chaos once and for all! Could Reshiram and Zekrom be the answers to this global threat?

Trainers who took part in the real-world events in New Taipei City and Los Angeles will also have access to this event-exclusive Special Research story during Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Global.

Team Leader themed Timed Research is available during the event. There is a mysterious difference between rewards – some Trainers get a Rocket Radar, others get Incense. We are not sure why, it might depend on a previous investigation related to Team Leaders.

Tour Pass

From Monday, February 24 10:00 am to Sunday, March 2, 2025, at 6:00 pm local time the new Tour Pass and Tour Pass Deluxe will be available in Pokémon GO.

• The Tour Pass is a free, limited-time progression track during Pokémon GO Unova Tour: Global. By collecting points you can unlock rewards, increase your rank, and boost your event bonuses.
• All Trainers will automatically receive their Tour Pass at no cost on Monday, February 24 10:00 am local time.
• You can collect Tour Points and rank up to get additional rewards until the end of the event on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at 6:00 pm local time.
• Rewards unlocked during this period will expire on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at 6:00 pm local time, so be sure to claim all of your rewards before they vanish!

Tour Pass Deluxe

For $14.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency) you can purchase the Tour Pass Deluxe track.

Victini

When you upgrade to the Tour Pass Deluxe you get an immediate encounter with the Victory Pokémon, Victini. Even if you’ve already caught Victini before, you can encounter a Victini with the Tour Pass Deluxe.

• When progressing through the Tour Pass Deluxe, you’ll be able to claim all of the rewards from both the free Tour Pass, and the Tour Pass Deluxe.
• You can upgrade to the Tour Pass Deluxe at any time and still collect rewards from previously unlocked tiers.
• Rewards unlocked during this period will expire on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at 6:00 pm local time, so be sure to claim all of your rewards before they vanish!
• When you reach the highest level of the Tour Pass Deluxe, you can also unlock a brand new item, the Lucky Trinket.

You can collect the rewards from the 10 ranks you jumped immediately upon purchase.
