In huge news for fans of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, an official Pokémon GO expansion set has been announced! For so many of us, TCG is how we first fell in love with Pokémon, leading us to play Pokémon GO, so for a collaboration to now be coming in summer 2022, it’s huge! This summer, a collaboration between the Pokémon Trading Card Game and Pokémon GO will be released! The Pokémon TCG: Pokémon GO expansion will feature cards themed after the popular mobile game. You can get an early look at the expansion’s package design below.

The packaging shown in the sneak peek is an exclusive look at what is to come in terms of packaging design, and it has us at Hub really hyped! Featuring Mewtwo, Larvitar, Aipom, Blissey (fittingly on top of a gym), Gyarados, Conkeldurr and of course Pikachu, along with teasers of PokéStops and an appearance from Professor Willow too, this is going to be a real collectors items for fans of both TCG, and GO. We’ve had a brief tie in with GO from TCG before with the limited edition Professor Willow card that flew off the shelves as part of a limited special bonus for those who bought the GO Fest 2021 shirt from the Pokémon Centre (shown below).
