Enjoy the debut of Dynamax Drilbur with the Simply Groundbreaking event, from November 15 10:0 a.m local time to November 17 8:00 p.m. local time.


Max Out Season Special Research: Galar Calling Research icon

A new Special Research story ‘Galar Calling‘ with branching paths will be available to Trainers! Throughout Pokémon GO: Max Out, you’ll be able to reach new heights with your chosen partner Pokémon.

Depending on which partner Pokémon you choose, your Postcard Book background will change to celebrate your choice!

You can claim this Special Research at no cost from Tuesday, September 3, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 9:59 a.m. local time.


Daily Coin Bounty: Part Three Research icon

A new ticket will be available for the Daily Coin Bounty, starting Sunday, November 3, at 12:00 a.m. local time and ending Monday, December 2, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. local time. There will be new ways to earn coins, plus special bonuses!

Pokémon GO Max Out Season

GO Battle League: Max Out will commence on GO Battle League: Max Out will start on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −8).

The following will occur at the beginning of the Season:

  • End-of-Season rewards will be available on the Battle screen.
  • Your GO Battle League rank will be reset.
  • Rank-up requirements will remain the same as the prior Season.

  • 🔵 Great League*
November 12 – November 19
  • 🟡 Ultra League*
  • 🔵 Willpower Cup*

*4× Stardust from win rewards (this does not include end-of-set rewards)

Tuesday November 12th, 6 pm till 7 pm local time we have a Smoliv as the featured Pokémon for spotlight hour, along with 2x XP for evolving Pokémon!

One-star and three-star Shadow Raids will be available daily, while five-star Shadow Raids will take place on Saturdays and Sundays unless otherwise noted. Also, Shadow Suicune will swoop into five-star Shadow Raids during Max Out!

You may even encounter a Shiny Shadow Suicune—if you’re lucky!

Monday November 11th 6pm till 7pm local time Charmander will appear in one-star Max Battles.

The following bonuses are specific to Max Out:

  • Increased XP for a seven-day PokéStop spin streak
  • Increased XP and Stardust for a seven-day Pokémon catch streak
  • Increased XP from going up a Friendship level
  • One additional Candy when trading Pokémon
  • Trainers level 31 and above will receive one guaranteed Candy XL when trading Pokémon

Season of Max Out Research Breakthrough Research icon

  • From September 3, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. to December 3, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
  • Complete Field Research tasks during the whole season to earn an encounter from the pool of Pokémon below:
