Coming this week in Pokémon GO, commencing 24th July, we have the ever popular Adventure Week event, the debut of Mega Tyranitar, and Poliwag Community Day! What a week!
Adventure Week 2023
From July 27, 2023 from 10:00am to August 2, 2023, 8:00pm local time Adventure Week returns! Mega Tyranitar debuts, along with a shiny release for both Amaura and Tyrunt!
Poliwag Community Day
July 30, 2023 at 2:00pm to 5:00pm local time is Poliwag Community Day! Poliwag will appear more frequently in the wild, and lucky Trainers may encounter a shiny Poliwag. Poliwrath evolved during the event will know the Fast Attack Counter. Politoed evolved during the event will know the Charged Attack Ice Beam.
Pokémon Air Adventures: Jeju Island, South Korea
A Pokémon Air Adventures event is coming to Jeju Island, South Korea, from July 28 to July 30, 2023! Trainers can look forward to exciting Special Research, new costumed Pokémon, and more gameplay inspired by Pokémon Air Adventures, all while exploring Jeju Island.
GO Battle League Season 15
GO Battle League: Hidden Gems will start on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. PT.
The following will occur at the beginning of the Season.
- End-of-Season rewards will be available on the battle screen.
- Your GO Battle League rank will be reset.
- Rank-up requirements will remain the same as the prior Season.

Season of Hidden Gems Research Breakthrough
- From June 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT -7) to September 1, 2023, at 1:00 p.m.
PDT (GMT -7) - Complete Field Research tasks during the whole season to earn an encounter from a pool of Pokémon, including Sableye, Beldum, Audino, Furfrou, Noibat and Goomy.
Season of Hidden Gems Field Research Tasks
Starting this Season, Field Research tasks that previously rotated on a monthly basis will now rotate Seasonally. Field Research tasks that award an encounter with Spinda will still rotate monthly. For a full list of the season field research tasks check out our list here.
