Dive into an action-packed week in Pokémon GO starting February 26th! We end the Season of Timeless Travels, and learn more about the Hisui region. As March begins, so does a new season of Pokémon GO!
It’s end of the February, and we don’t yet have information for the new season, or March events, but the announcement will come any time soon! Keep an eye out on our socials for the updates.
Spotlight Hour is a big one this week, with double transfer candy and a chance at Rare Candy XL for transferring Pokémon, so hold off on clearing out your Sinnoh Tour catches until Spotlight Hour! UPDATE – NianticHelp just tweeted that this was a mistake and they meant at a chance of increased Candy XL. Sigh.
Pikachu Air Adventures head to Indonesia for a weekend long event, with a special costume Pikachu.
At the start of each month in the Season of Timeless Travels, Trainers will be able to purchase a new ticketed experience for the Egg-spedition ticket that includes bonuses and Timed Research.
But that’s not all – battle enthusiasts can gear up for the GO Battle League Season 17, while raiders prepare for epic confrontations with Heatran and Cresselia in five-star raids, and Mega Garchomp in Mega Raids!
And keep your eyes peeled for the elusive Shiny Shadow Articuno! There’s a plethora of adventures waiting, so trainers, gear up and set out!
Pikachu’s Air Adventures come to Indonesia! Pikachu’s Indonesia Journey is coming to Bali, Indonesia from March 2 to 3, 2024. Trainers can look forward to Special Research, new costumed Pokémon, and more gameplay inspired by Pikachu’s Indonesia Journey, all while exploring Bali.
Provision for the travels ahead! At the start of each month in the Season of Timeless Travels, Trainers will be able to purchase a new ticketed experience that includes bonuses and Timed Research! Throughout Pokémon GO: Timeless Travels, you’ll be able to come across Pokémon found in the Hisui region, and stock up on items like Incubators. Be sure to check out the in-game shop regularly, you never know what wares and wonders you may find. The third is the Egg-spedition ticket for February with a free single use incubator every day!
GO Battle League: Timeless Travels will start on Friday, December 1, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. PT.
The following will occur at the beginning of the Season:
- End-of-Season rewards will be available on the battle screen.
- Your GO Battle League rank will be reset.
- Rank-up requirements will remain the same as the prior
Season.

Tuesday February 27th 6pm till 7pm local time we have Sandshrew and Alolan Sandshrew as the featured Pokémon for spotlight hour, along with 2x Candy for transferring Pokémon, along with an additional bonus described as ‘+% Transfer Rare Candy XL’.

Wednesday February 28th 6pm till 7pm local time Cresselia and Heatran will appear in five-star raids, and it can be shiny! During the raid hour Cresselia will have access to the special move Grass Knot, and, Heatran will have access to the special move Magma Storm.

From February 22 – March 1 Mega Garchomp will appear in Mega Raids.


From February 26 to March 1 Cresselia and Heatran will appear in five-star raids.

One-star and three-star Shadow Raids will be available daily, while five-star Shadow Raids will take place on Saturdays and Sundays, unless otherwise noted. Also, Shadow Articuno will swoop into five-star Shadow Raids during Timeless Travels!

You may even encounter a Shiny Shadow Articuno—if you’re lucky!
The following bonuses are specific to Season 13: Timeless Travels.
- From December 1, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT -7) to March 1, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.
PDT (GMT -7) - Complete Field Research tasks during the whole season to earn an encounter from a pool of Pokémon, including Galarian Weezing, Galarian Mr. Mime, Lapras, Furfrou, Goomy and Jangmo-o.
Starting this Season, Field Research tasks that previously rotated on a monthly basis will now rotate Seasonally. Field Research tasks that award an encounter with Spinda will still rotate monthly. For a full list of the season field research tasks check out our list here.
